This probably sounds ridiculous but I was falling in a horrible trap of "growing out" of playing guitar. I guess it was just exterior forces and stresses due to major changes in my life and feeling the pressure, but the affect it was having on me was real. I barely played my guitar or ukuele in months since I just couldn't muster the enthusiasm to pick it up and start strumming, even for a few minutes a week... I'm not sure what motivated me to watch this video given that I never really cared for Robbie Williams or this song beforehand, I guess the minimalist maintenance of the guitar intrigue me 😂 And something about this song in acoustic format sounded like a match made in heaven but I'd be lying if I thought that I was going to be blown away by it. Thank god I watched this video because it's inspired me to pick up the 6 string again. Great playing and great voice, and just sheer raw talent. This is the kind of performance that made me want to start playing guitar all those years ago when I watched clips of the legendary artists I admired most. Not sure if I'm going to start video uploads anytime soon but getting playing again is a big deal given how the last few months for me have been. Thank you sir. I doubt you expected one video you casually uploaded a while ago without much thought would help some random guy refocus his musical interests, ambitions and passions. Keep up the good work! :)
