Firstly Congratulations!! You'll have to do bridge courses for which there won't be final exams but you'll have to pass the internal exams. And CSE is great, make sure to work hard to keep up with the regular entry students. All the best!
True, it is risky. ECE is good but quite difficult I've heard. If you're not interested in electronics it'll be difficult to manage. But there are a lot of people people passionate about electronics who do really well in ECE.
Congrats!! I suggest to study regularly from the beginning coz 2nd year subjects are quite difficult and people joining after diploma generally struggle as they’re not used to the assessment pattern here. But if you are a little more careful from the start you’ll do just fine. All the best!

But if you are interested and you're sure that you are interested in management and might pursue an MBA then go for it. But only if you have a lot of interest

When i saw the cut-off of last year.....i would get Mech branch in RVCE akka. Actually I'm aiming for Tech branches....but there's less chance of getting me getting into those branches in a good college...... I'm also interested in Mechanics but scared of future placements and career akka......but as its RVCE.... I'm ready to compromise with my branch also akka..... I have heard that the coding culture and the peer groups would eventually help students become greatly skilled irrespective of the branch...but im in a dilemma akka... what should i do akka? Yes it's good! Join some good club like Ashwa and it'll be great. Core companies do come, and many people go for higher studies in Germany and other countries

Mech is good if you're interested in it and there are very good car clubs in RV. Ik people who left CS, ECE for mech and aerospace branches out of interest CGPA for changing to CS, ECE is 9.5+ usually I'm making a video on just this question, stay tuned!

your son can get NMIT or DSIT , MSRIT is kinda difficult but try BMS and BIT also , check another RV college other than the top one , pakka CSE will be there , please don't waste time
Depends on how you look at it. Placements are pretty good, but it is definitely not easy to balance electronics subjects along with coding. I would suggest to take only if you have interest.

Syllabus wise almost same. But they are different departments. ECE is allowed for more companies than ETE

If you're self motivated to do everything yourself then go for it.... but it's difficult so start learning coding, etc from first year itself
