He’s an is why it’s a job and he still had some of his habits that I doubt you even noticed I took acting and it’s a job to make a living just as Tony did many things in his lifetime to make a living as an artist in other ways! Wake Up already!
It was such a tragic event in so many ways. Ward died of a heart attack soon after Wally was booked. June had a Nervous Breakdown and ended up in a three way love triangle with Fred Rutherford and Mrs. Rayburn, also known as "The Bull" by her intimate friends.
"Ward old boy, sorry your lad turned out this way. Here's hoping he can turn things around. Take my Clarence; couldn't be prouder. Chip off the old block!!!" --"But daddy, you just said......" "Oh, shut up, you big oaf!!"
Tony was really trying to play more adult roles..he was 26 here! He looks 10 years older..Tony, everyone loves Wally..cut your hair and start running again.
I don't understand why every RUclips clip featuring Tony Dow has a Wally Cleaver sub heading. If you know Tony Dow. Then you know and appreciate his contributions to our entertainment. RIP Tony and thank you.
Because unlike you and I, there are millions of people much younger than us who are familiar with the name Wally Cleaver but couldn't tell you the actor's name was Tony Dow. And the only reason I have put all these hundreds of clips together is because these actors all played characters on Leave it to Beaver. Sorry if it bothers you; please feel feel to just avert your eyes from those couple of words
I was hoping this would be one of the episodes where Linc cries due to the overwhelming weight of "the man's" oppressive injustices. Clarence William's afro deserved it's own Emmy award.
Tony looks kind of overweight in this episode. He was only about 26 I would imagine at the time this was filmed. I can see why he was typecast. It's very difficult to see him as anyone other than Wally.
"Hey Wally......... why'd you have to go and slug that guy? "Gee Beav.....a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Anyway, nothing really happened". "Yea? Well wait til dad find's out".
I met Tony in a BALLY'S Fitness Center Iocker room in Indianapolis years ago. He was not friendly at all. He didn't appear as nice as Ken Osmond or Jerry Mathers. I know actors have to make a living after a hit series but “Wally Cleaver” playing some tough guy? It just doesn’t fit him “on the account of” i always envisioned “Wally Cleaver” growing up to be a coach or a teacher or some kind of counselor…🤓🤓🤓
Just was great at acting that show so well I see so many resighting the lines to the T 🙂like Jerry Maters said some of those lines where real not always scripted.
Well, of course it was no one's idea for Tony Dow to play characters on other shows as an older Wally Cleaver. He was an actor and did different characters
Who would have ever thought that Eddie Haskell would grow up to be a cop and Wally would become a hooligan.
Tony Dow didn't become a hooligan. He was playing a part on The Mod Squad. He was actually a successful director.
He’s an is why it’s a job and he still had some of his habits that I doubt you even noticed I took acting and it’s a job to make a living just as Tony did many things in his lifetime to make a living as an artist in other ways! Wake Up already!
@@sandrahaner1594 Whoosh
Alan knew that Sandra, he was just making a cool joke!!
I’ll bet Eddie Haskell put him up to this, and then he ran away.
And Beaver wound up on Lassie at aged 20.
😆
Maybe. And Eddie Haskell had a change of heart, and joined the LAPD a few years later.
Lol 😆🤣😂😹😆 that was funny knowing Eddie he did😅😹🤣👋
Eddie also had a sex change, now he's a man.
RIP Tony Dow 🎭
Were probably not the only ones...watching all of tony dows apperances on shows tosday....since he did die. Bless his soul, hes with the lord.
He is with the Lord and Frank Bank.
Ward and June Cleaver must have been horrified that Wally turned out this way. 😂
It was such a tragic event in so many ways. Ward died of a heart attack soon after Wally was booked. June had a Nervous Breakdown and ended up in a three way love triangle with Fred Rutherford and Mrs. Rayburn, also known as "The Bull" by her intimate friends.
June was alright..She was even on a flight speaking jive talk with a sick brotha..
And we thought Eddie Haskell was the bad guy.
@@rahsaanthomas7030 LMAO. Had a flashback.
@@superfly3990 And that was why Beaver had such a FAILED marriage to think about what happened to Wally.
Wally is that you!?! Wait till your Father gets home, now go to your room.
I would have been happier with "You just declared Ward," with a wink to the camera, but Aaron Spelling runs a tight ship.
John Smith do you want a boyfriend
Always my guy Wally! Rest in peace Tony Dow.
Did he mess around with barbara Billingsley on the set of leave it to beaver?
@@erikhammer153 I highly doubt it.
"Friend, you just declared war." "I'm going to give you the business."
That's tellin' him, Sam.
@@Itelkner...That's telling him, Gertrude!

Man... dads going to clobber you! RIP TONY DOW!

I know I watched Mod Squad but hadn’t remembered Tony was in an episode. Thanks for posting.

Ed Rutherford was such a great supporting character. Always made me laugh.

@@MickeyWN Yes...Fred! Darn word correct! Thanks Mickey, see you in the salt mines.
Wally throwing punches 👊
Wally looked pretty groovy with all that long hair.
Hr still has it like that today...
Badass show for it’s time! Link’s Afro and Peggy Lipton had me as a kid watching it!
Yeah, I watched this as a kid, too. The opening credits were the coolest!
Mod Squad favorite show in my youth !😍HS Class of 1975 - American icon Tony Dow 💔
RIP Tony Dow. He was a talented artist later in life. He created some beautiful art.
R.I.P.
TONY DOW
CLARENCE WILLIAMS III
TIGE ANDREWS
@Ralph Blowchoski
Peggy too? I was not aware of that.
And Peggy Lipton. She died from colon cancer on May 11, 2019. Michael Cole is the only surviving cast member. So sad.
He did his best to be a tough guy, but in the end, he was still Wally Cleaver, LOL. I loved him!
The fuzz were giving Wally the business...
Wally looked puffy. RIP. Love when he said to Beaver: “ You better hurry up and gonna’”
Love most squad with Tony dow even better
Tony was so typecast as Wally it's a miracle that he got any other roles at all. Just ask Max Baer Jr. (Jethro on Beverly Hillbillies).
Awesome this is really fun I never knew he did a Mod Squad he is good in this episode.
This was some pretty good acting by Tony
Quite a different role. I’m glad he wasn’t type cast
He was still good old wally even though trying to be tough. His natural ways were his ways. 🙏
Tony will always be Wally. Seeing him older, he just gets hotter. Love his hair and good no mustache.
Insane intro music to that show I used to run around crazy to that when I was a little kid thanks for the memory Tony was awesome too :)
Tony was really trying to play more adult roles..he was 26 here! He looks 10 years older..Tony, everyone loves Wally..cut your hair and start running again.
I couldn't see Tony Dow in any other role except for Wally on leave it to beaver. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Tony was not always delighted to be typecast as the All American Boy. He did have some rough spots in early adulthood. He learned.
My oldest sister had to watch this show every week back in those days.😄
Here we see Wally Cleaver, no longer the nice big brother.
Nice to see the work of all actors on guess staring roles.
Beaver: "Hey Wally - are you taking pot?"
Enjoyed the memories. Thanks! 💖👍

I always remember Linc making one of his flying leaps to catch someone.
Great show
Tony Dow was on a episode of the Love Boat too!!
yes I have their scenes in Love Boat here on my channel too: ruclips.net/video/eJKzSqUwYOM/видео.html
"Arn't you Ward Cleaver's boy?"
I just love pantyliner Peggy she is definitely one of the hottest women on television
Watching her while taking a swig of Lipton Cup a Soup!
And in the next scene, Ward drove down to police HQ in his Chrysler to pick up his son and hollered at him all the way back to Mayfield……😂
Yeah Yeah, he had him by the ear 🤣
And Beaver in the back seat with that 'scared look' hoping that Ward will not scream at him next🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is this really Barney Fife ? lol

Wally and Linc, does it get any cooler??😀
Peggy Lipton + + +
No!

The fuzz is really givin' Wally the business in this episode ... and if Ward finds out he's gonna go ape or somethin'
I bet he went ape...lmao..
Gee whiz. Why'd you have to go and say a creepy thing like that?
after all those years Wally starts holding a grudge
Aww Heck Beav
What would June think of that long unruly hair?? Lol
Tony was a LOT more than Wally. He was a talented actor and a great guy.
Wally has a wicked punch.
I was hoping this would be one of the episodes where Linc cries due to the overwhelming weight of "the man's" oppressive injustices. Clarence William's afro deserved it's own Emmy award.
The real Wally Cleaver, everyone in Mayfield was putting him down so he biked to California.
I live you Tony dow
I always wanted to meet Wally.
STILL Groovy in 2022
linc was the coolest. solid
Tony dow was joining the cobra kai here
Good one. Lol.
Three groovy cats
Wally was everywhere for a while. Had to get Leave it To Beaver out of his mind.
"Golly Pete. What did you go and hit me for"?
Oohhh my first TV CRUSH, MICHIEL COLE
This is the time he needed beaver.
Wally Cleaver goes bad!!!
Tony was just giving them the business.
The Ole Cleaver boy
Cool
A far cry from the clean cut Wally Cleaver.
Wally Cleaver !!!!!
It's so hard to take Wally and beav seriously as adults in these later shows
Being typecast wouldn't have been so bad if they were given royalties.
Fighting Wally Cleaver is like fighting Greg Brady or Barney Fife. One hand behind your back.
Oh, how I miss those days! They are all gone now, except Michael Cole.😟
Wally, say it ain't so!!!!
It looks to me Like those 2 Men where Giving him the biz
Me encantaría ver los capítulos completos de esta serie en español antes los veía en español pero no salen completos los capítulos no se que pasó
And Gilbert and Larry were behind the scenes causing all this trouble
yeah, I like Wally as a hippie.
Walleye Cleaver was nearly normal in this episode of _Leave it to Maude._
Gee whiz Wally what’re you gonna tell mom and dad ?
Dude looks like Wally Cleaver.
In a 70's "cop show punk" sorta way.
Peggy Lipton was Bever 🦄🎀🌎🦁👑🏆🥧🏠🐹🌞❤️😇🐈💯 man of war
She probably had beaver fur
I wonder if he saved those purple bell bottoms.
There is only one left in that group.

Wally!!?? Have you been freaking out on DLS?
Cool 😎 daddyo
Eddie Haskell probably Set Wally up
Eddie Haskell should have played the other guy.
If Wally had at least turned out like Lumpy Rutherford.
Wally Cleaver’s alter ego is far out!!
:55 original Covid! 😷
I bet Beaver went to school that day wearing a paper sack on his head.
Lumpy did it
No, it was Eddie Haskell. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
WALLEY IN THE SAME PITURE WITH A BLACK PERSON. LINK. A RARE PICTURE.
Is it REALLY rare, or is your world just limited?
Maybe if you could spell picture you could be around tony dow too
Yeah there are no black people in Los Angeles. :)
Kim Hamilton (Black actress) was on LITB as a maid in the same scene as "Wally" & "Eddie".

Ward and June were very unhappy the way he turned out. He ended up being a hoodlum.
Wally/ I ain’t no lil beaver!
Not so innocent the Cleavers would be very unhappy if they see how he turned out
Yeah, I'm getting the beave, eddie and Clarence and we're going to war buddy.😅
