My philosophy is the most successful projects will have the most cash flow and therefore have the highest bribes. So I just trust Votium

I have a few questions and would appreciate any help you provide. Once your CVX is locked with Convex, I have to delegate on votium right ? Then I'll be able to vote on the upcoming bribes. Do I have to delegate to votium every two weeks when the bribes are upcoming or is it a one time thing ?
once you delegate you're locked for the 16 weeks and you just vote every 2 weeks. Bribes are usually up 24 hours after vote is completed.

I want to participate in Votium but my stake is kind of small. How do I make sure that I am not losing money overall due to gas fees? Are there two lots of gas: on delegation to Votium and then again to claim rewards? I am trying to do the math, so like each time $50 or so, total $100? Can I wait a few rounds of voting before claiming rewards to keep the cost down overall?
You can wait and let rewards accrue for weeks/months/whenever to claim them so less $ on gas.
I can't see the "personal rewards" only "all pools"
Bribes still coming in - you will get your rewards after voting closes, prob on Tuesday.

Do you have to delegate to Votium before the gauge for the week goes live? I haven't done delegated to votium yet but the Gauge week for Dec 23 has already started. Does that mean I should just delegate now, manually vote this week and use Votium the next time around?
Yes I believe so, how had to delegate by 12/23 @ 00:00 utc for votium so be sure to do it for next year
@@LittleMight I locked my cvx and delegated my votes to votium on the 24/12. I had the option to vote though, so I'm not sure if I missed this round or not..

Hey..thanks for the vid..two questions...i have my cvx locked no probs.... before using votium (i have already connected wallet), do i have to delgate it to their address or do i just go straight to snapshot and vote? Second question..on yr vid at about the 5m 50 mark, u show how to use snapshot and vote..u clivked once on a chosen protocol, frax i think, and it came up 100%. When i go to do that, i have to click several times to get up to 100%.....is that normal? Anyway, thanks in advance cheers
you need to delegate to votium so use the button on their site to do that. Then you'll be able to select your vote thru them (which is where the bribes come from). Not sure on the 100% just make sure nothing else selected!
@@LittleMight thanks..yeah worked it out ...i ended up just going to snapshot and voting (the 100% came up no probs with one click...think before because i wasnt logged in with wallet)...and i voted for just one option (crv/cvxcrv)...got paid my rewards great stuff..but they were all in various coins...about 8-9 thought it would be in just one coin any ideas why that was?..anyway, thanks for yr reply and all the best
@@daltropical5236 gotta make sure you select one pool next time. First round I got was bunch of coins because I didn’t know I should be voting on just 1, next round just selected one pool. You can also claim after a few rounds to save on gas

So, the pool you vote for doesnt need to win in order to get the bribe?
Nope! It's all weighted, so your vote will be weighted similarly. So for example if you donate your $CVX which works out at 10% of the votes for the pool - you'll get 10% of the bribes.
@@LittleMight awesome stuff. Just got the calculate the risk of locking cvx in for 16 weeks, thatll be mid april (alot of bear estimates then).
@@sean6459 I think cvx still a strong hold in a bear market when more people go into stables and want to be able to put them somewhere or exchange into them. (you think they're going to go back to fiat and farm 0.25% per year at Chase 😅)
For bribes even in dip you stock up on quality projects - I have 7 unlock periods from Jan to end of March. Focusing on Spell, FXS & LUNA for my bribes.
@@LittleMight Oh I totally agree, I just meant during the initial sell off. Going to have to do some more thinking before I make a decision haha
