Such an inspiration. All of that dedication and patience for drawing 30 pages is mesmerizing. I am on a journey to learning how to draw manga and am applying myself in all respects of drawing. I hope one day I can be just as good. ~♥
I know that buying the exact materials this artist uses doesn't mean your skills are going to be any better or worse, but as an artist, I find it INCREDIBLY meditating to watch this and it gets me pumped to draw again - I bought many of the materials used in this video because (and I don't know if anyone else feels this way) it makes me enter an even more inspired zone after seeing them in the capable hands of another artist. Does anyone else go through this phenomenon? I'm excited for my new pencils and to utilize many of the wonderful organization and skills that I picked up from this video! Fantastic.
This is good for beginners who want to draw a manga. I've already started on a manga myself that's similar to Dragon Ball Z and Super. Therefore, I can apply your teaching to my art to.
So here's his workflow from what I understand: 1. Has a name (storyboard) and pre drawn panels with speech bubbles ready before drawing 2. Draws the characters and backgrounds in pencil after he 3. Traces over the drawings onto the panels and makes them look nice 4. Inking 5. Final touches and tones on digital You can definitely learn a lot from watching masters of the craft working their magic! Although there is still one thing I don't understand, and I see this often in a lot of other manga as well. I notice that when he is drawing some lines, some are complete, and others have gaps. Why is that? Is it supposed to achieve a certain kind of effect when drawing like that?
