I followed your video to a tee and it worked perfectly. I went from underneath and I didn't need to raise the X or take off the wheel. No more crankshaft sensor code. You rock!
Any help i have a 2004 Nissan Xterra it turns over but wont actually start it ran just fine just one them days i can hear the fuel pump so im not to sure only code has in for my catalytic converter but it was running just fine so i figured couldn't be the reason. Any pointers
could be another issue, tps sensor or vss. You dont always get a code until something is way out and also some scanners dont ctach transmissions issues

May need to test fuel pressure first. just because the pump is on dosnt mean its good. sometimes you can be off by 5 psi and it wont start.
I know it’s been awhile but I have 00’ xe 5speed and I got a P0340 so I even have a sensor or is it incorporated in the entire distributor?
part of the distributor
@@EfurdGarage could I source the cam shaft sensor used? Will I be fine? Shaft and gear are fine and bearing is still in good condition.
@@__Melzz__ Unforently you have to get a new distributor. A used one is risky
Could this sensor cause a no start?
it could yes
Good Job.. What symptoms were you having? any OBD2 codes?
this one was brought to me with codes
Mine was p0335 on a 01 3.3v6 4wd
Hello, Did you remove the driver wheel?. I trying to change it on xterra 4x4 2003
