Floyd came out against Manny boxing behind a jab, was methodical and looking to react and counter.
Against Mcgregor, Floyd got in a clamshell high guard and walked down Mcgregor offensively and defensively. He stood ground and traded and wanted to make contact to gas Conor out.
Against Manny Floyd was active with his footwork and pivots. Against Mcgregor he was flat footed looking for power shots and being physical.
I'm sure everybody would agree with me if Floyd wanted to pick his shots and be that defensive God he is, it would have been a boring shutout fight.

Hahahaha a lot of haters still deny that Conner did well for his first boxing match with one of the best. He lost in 10 rounds but was humble and respectful in defeat. He did his job promoting the fight and now he is embracing the experience.

Conor did better then I expected and I'll give him his due for making this a fun fight to watch. With that being said, Floyd was never in any danger in this fight and despite Conor's prediction that he was going to KO Floyd within 4, he fought in a style where he was doing everything he could to avoid getting knocked out himself. It looked like Conor knew he wasn't going to win and just wanted to make it respectable. I wanted to see him live up to all his trash talk and go after Floyd.

To make it interesting he took it to the late rounds and kept coming forward which he never does, had no defense and even took Conor's "left hand" which was hyped so much without any damage. Majority of the people after the fight were like "cONoR diD So MUcH bEtTeR tHaN fLoYDs oThER OpPoNEnTS" so yes in other words they pulled of the scam perfectly.

The McGregor era was a hell of a ride, this is where he peaked and started falling. Imagine the fighting world if Conor had won, how high Conor would have risen.
It wouldn’t have made a difference if he won. People know that this is a boxing match and conors sport is mma where he would demolish Floyd in. Him losing is irrelevant and win or lose it made Conor a richer and more popular/famous man. But he did put up a good fight.

He was really just dancing around and throwing nothing, plus of course he also did it to get Conor tired. Conor’s post fight analysis are always on point even in defeat. There are a lot of fighters that when defeated they tell a story of a completely different fight. Conor is always fair on point

If the ref hadnt stopped it i think Conor would have been KO. By the time of the stoppage, Floyd was able to basically fire at will, Conor defense was gone. Ref could have allowed Floyd to keep teeing off but imo he made the right call.
It was a probably a stipulation in the UFC guy to stop the figth before he gets ko. No shadow of a doubt Floyd would have ko him Wich is sad because he doesn't ko no one that Victor ko was sad too
