Sorry to hear that! When we stayed there the pool was great (a little cool but that was awesome when it was hot out) and the management/owners were super.
Hi Iselilia, we only rented the house for a few weeks and are not the owners. It was really great. No air conditioning though so I'd say stay away from the hot months. Also Merida generally can be noisy and this house seemed to pick up distant street noises at night, due to its ventilation system at the time. Not a huge deal unless you are a light sleeper. We did come across a couple of scorpions, too, which are common for the area but can be distressing.

Hi Neil, I just got back from Merida, the house was nice as you said but the management was awful, the swimming pool was not clean for most of our stay and it was a scam when it came to pay the electricity bill, such a pitty for a nice house.
