Apartments like this in the US ( especially in NYC where I recently moved from ) would cost you between 4 - 5k. And you'd have like 3 or 4 roommates all working 2 jobs with some side hustles too to pay for it, never having any time for you, your health, your social life or the many tourist attractions in the area that people from outside the city pay to come and see. Your channel has been eye opening. Thank you, hope to see more videos like this, its incredible.
Thank u for watching ... These apartments/townhouses can be had for even cheaper in other parts of Merida/Mexico. These were in the more affluent areas where everything is priced more (with smaller spaces). In other areas, you could get much larger spaces for the same price (or get the same places for much less). Options are definitely around
Thank you so much for these housing tours...Your patience is Wonderful Mr. C... I really liked the TH in Monte Cristo, are there any rentals in the Jardin colonial?
The last one was the nicest I thought. I’m surprised at the prices though. I’m in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with laundry with a walled in yard and private pool outside of Chapala for 15,000. Makes me feel like I got a great deal. None of my business Cartess, but I wonder if people are budgeting at the recommended 30% of your take home pay for rent. Rent is your biggest expense in Mexico. Go too high and you’re not gonna have much fun.
Thanks for sharing! You can definitely find better deals in other parts of Merida (and Mexico). This particular client wanted to live in the more affluent area (which many people tend to do on their first visits outside of their home country). They're looking for some similarities of home to feel comfortable (after being here a while, many venture out into the more 'local areas' and get the better deals. But definitely, these same properties could be had for much less in other parts of the city.
I am like your client, I have claustrophobia, as well…so I spend very little time in elevators. I always ask for hotel rooms as close to the first floor as possible!😩
Isn't anyone interested in the old-fashioned Mexican neighborhoods? Small houses with character, where you can walk to Tiendas to shop? And eat around the corner without having to have a car. Not all this fancy, American-looking stuff...although they are beautiful! Just askin'...🤞🍀😉
@@JorgeGarcia-mh5il I watch every house/apartment tour all over Mexico that are being offered to expats and all of the newer ones have open floor plans, built in kitchens and high-end finishes. I am not interested in these at all, my friend
@jvahl8747 with due respects ..through out the years the achitects have been designing according with the new tegnologie , Materials etc etc .even the brand new homes don't look like the ones built 60 years ego in the US ... that's what I mean . ..the purpose of this comment is just to give you my opinion ..again ..with due respects .. the modern houses don't have nationality ... good day ...bye

I would like some expats to visit the houses and apartments here in Veracruz. It would be great to see them around here.
Cartess this apartment is calling my name. 😊
It's got your name on it :)
I take it back, #3 is beautiful!

I thought that was Camilla ! That’s my realtor! She’s so professional and a go getter. She’s still in that nice black benz?
The living room is a closet

In the newly built apartments/homes can you flush toilet paper?
Its the infrastructure in general, public sewer system
You can't.
