As an Angels fan, I don't mind this trade. Soler immediately becomes probably our second best hitter in the lineup assuming that Trout can stay healthy. I don't like the notion personally that we need to save the DH spot for Mike -- he will get his days as a DH but he is still a plus OF-er whether you want to keep him in CF or move him to a corner. His injuries have mostly all come in the batters box or on the base paths, and NOT out in the outfield, so he still will have the injury risk at DH. Soler's contract isn't all that bad, and still leaves us plenty of money to sign a Corbin Burnes or Max Fried (probably won't but we can afford it). On the other side, Griffin Canning was AWFUL last year -- actively lost us winnable games. He only has one arbitration year left and probably wasn't in our desired rotation next year... I would literally rather call up someone we just drafted like we usually do. I do agree with the sentiment that we should have tried to get some $ from the Braves, and I hope Perry tried. The Angels have to make a WHOLE lot of moves beyond this and get lucky with some of their young players to even make the playoffs. This trade in a vacuum I don't mind though.
yeah but the OF wears on his body making him weaker and more susceptible to injuries IN the batters box. As a millville guy myself, I think Trout's problems is he eats bad. He eats too many Jim's lunch burgers and needs to control his diet the way say, Lebron and Brady do/did.
Angels fan here. I really like this move for the team. Most people are completely ignoring the fact that the Angels have a very good young core of players and that the bullpen was very good this year and the team is extremely cheap outside of Trout and Rendon. Soler really helps take pressure off a young lineup that showed growth and flashes (Neto 20/20 and Jo Adell gold glove finalist for example). Canning needed to leave. Yes the Angels need pitching but that’s not a reason to put horrible pitchers out there. You need GOOD pitchers not just a bunch of random guys who can eat innings but give up 8 runs while doing so. Canning was here for 4-5 years and the best we got out of him was a low 4 ERA. It’s a good thing to get rid of him and give a chance to a young pitcher in the farm system that everyone one ignores or to simply have an open spot for a possible free agent. Plus fans and Angels writers are expecting for Ward and or Tyler Anderson to get traded as well which means this could just be the start of a mass exodus of old BAD players and give a chance to some of the new recently drafted guys like Caden Dana or Christian Moore as well as seeing what the team can get in free agency. Obviously this isn’t a perfect trade and this trade is dependent on seeing what the team does in the rest of the offseason but honestly this feels like a good start.
Great points. This guy doesn’t know the team, which is why he’s confused. The Angels paid market value for the production they got. Trout won’t accept DH like this guy seems to believe. They can definitely improve Solers defense if they need to. Soler was basically a free agent that signed for 2 yrs/ $26M with us. Overall good deal for the Angels.

Just because the Braves freed up some money by trading Soler, does not mean they can re-sign Fried if Fried really wants to come home to Southern California. For real. Yeah I’ll give up a 5+ ERA pitcher for Jorge Soler and eat 26M over the next two years. Oh and that shit stain Rendon’s massive contract is DONE after this upcoming season.
As a lifelong Angels fan, I don't understand the "win-now" mentality at all. I've been calling and asking for a rebuild for the last few years. I even wanted Ohtani traded at the deadline last season. Arte is so stuck on trying to win now when we aren't even a Top 4 team in the AL West... Soler does fill in a spot where we had Willie Calhoun getting most of the DH AB's primarily and he will give us solid production. Before this trade happened, I had fully believed Trout would be the full time DH as he should be, but now it looks like Trout is still mentally stuck on telling Perry and the Angels he's not ready to call it quits in the OF this early. I see him as a corner OFer in the next few years.
Also, Canning has zero business being on this team. Braves 100% will fix him and I'm okay with it, it wasn't gonna happen in our system is the reality of the situation.
you've already done a soft rebuild. Half the lineup and upcoming rotation is rookies and sophomores. time to mix in some youth, some vets, and some mike trout.
Angels fan here. I disagree about 100%. Trout’s health is exactly why they made the move. The Angels have to build their roster under the assumption that Trout will not be healthy for significant portions of the season. Soler gives them a power bat in the DH slot if Trout does miss time. If he doesn’t, they’ll rotate him and Soler around the DH spot and corner outfield. 13M each year is not that much, Griffin canning has just not found it with the Angels and he’s entering his last arb year. If this is the only move the angels do, yes it’s absolutely a fail. I fully expect them to F it up, but I think the reasoning behind the move is fine.
@ It becomes 10 times more likely that’s for sure. The worst part about this trade is it pretty much guarantees that Fried will return to the Braves if the Dodgers dont get him.His market was the Angels and the Dodgers. Had the Dodgers decided against giving him a longterm deal (very possible) he was a lock to be an Angel. Now he will just go back to the Braves if that happens. Angels chances for Fried just went from about 40% to 2%
Canning was a non tender candidate. Projected arbitration is 5m. It’s a net salary of 7.5m for soler who is an above average hitter. This is nothing but positive…hilarious that you’re bashing it.
Every move he makes? He made the Ohoppe for Marsh move that’s looking pretty good for the Halos. As well as the Estevez move this deadline, getting 2 top pitching prospects. Lol
no he won't? if Fried doesn't come back, the Braves still have Sale, Schwellenbach, and López. they also have Strider when he comes back from injury and also guys like Smith-Shawver, Ian Anderson, and Hurston Waldrep in the minors that could also be ahead in the rotation.
Well, I'm a lifelong Angels fan and at this point, I'm indifferent to this trade. Canning could be a better pitcher, but he just hasn't panned out. Mind you, neither has Detmers, Sandoval, Silseth, all these guys have been like day and night, hit or miss, mostly miss. But they have all had moments where they looked like they were going to have a great year. Jose Soriano was probably our best pitcher but he still needs a bit more control and maybe some more self confidence. Meanwhile, we keep bringing pitchers up and down from the minors and most of them haven't panned out either. With Soler, we let go of a meh pitcher although I hope he does well elsewhere, but at least we get a big bat with experience in the lineup. Arte just hates baseball, let's face it lol
1. Neto SS 2. Rengifo 3B 3. Trout LF 4. Soler DH 5. Ward RF 6. Schanuel 1B 7. O’Hoppe C 8. Adell/Moniak CF 9. Moore 2B To me it seemed like we’re getting ready to sign starting pitching
You have to remember that both heads of the front office come from the same team tree/front office, so they r actually close to each other. Both were high up in blue jays org. Soler has solid upside as does canning. It'll be interesting to see the outcomes
Well Marc Giraffe neck Jim Riley of ballcap sports tends to have the same opinion as you. I figured Soler was probably going to get traded, but I was hoping as part of a trade package for something better than Canning appears to be. The Braves needed a short stop or a corner outfielder more than a mediocre pitcher at his best. So as as a Braves fan you make me feel a little better about this trade.
While I agree with EVERYTHING you say in this video I have just one question. Would you rather have Soler or Trout playing the outfield? The reason I ask is because as you mentioned, Trout isn’t as good a defender as he used to be, his arm has nothing left in it in terms of being a viable OF arm and his bat is NECESSARY on an everyday basis. As for Soler, if he goes into a season knowing he’s going to be an almost everyday OF (occasionally DH) and has time in the offseason to prepare to play the field, he doesn’t hurt the team defensively. I believe I heard that the last season he started as an OF for the full season he was a 0 for defense. So, if Soler isn’t going to kill you defensively, you can save Trout from himself (and the IL), you can have a better OF arm AND you get Soler at an 18% ish discount from what his actual market rate is, I believe this actually makes sense for LA…assuming they are thinking along the same lines lol
Trout only played 29 games last year & 82 the year before that. This is insurance in case he misses time again. Canning had 5 yrs to prove himself but hasn’t. This is only the first day of the offseason. How is this a bad deal?
Trout isn't the best defending center fielder, but he's still good out in the field. All of his injuries have come from running the bases. There's no reason to keep him out of the out field. Even if you move him off center. He could probably do right or left fairly easily. In 23 he had positive defensive bwar. And in 24 he only had -.1 with a 1.2 war hitting. That's-.55 dwar over the course of 162 games. Judge had judge had -.9. Slightly higher if we assume 162 games instead of his 158. At 21 years old trout had -1.2 as a comparison. Hes fine defensively, still.
The Braves definitely have some great eye for pitching. I liked Reynaldo Lopez with the Angels and I was surprised when they DFA’d him because he was pretty good, and the Braves knew that too from the looks of it. Griffin Canning has the stuff, he’s just inconsistent. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has an under 4 ERA next season while pitching 150+ innings.
It's not a bad trade. The Angels had to get rid of Canning instead of paying him next season, and they got a needed bat back. They may try to trade Trout this off-season. They can easily fill out their rotation by signing guys like Martinez and Junis from the Reds, guys who can pitch both in the rotation and out of the pen until some of the Angels' young starters are ready.
$13 million a year for an impact bat isn't too bad. 2024 was a year the Angels didn't try to contend. They played all their young guys to see what they have and where they need to improve. Look for them to be very active this offseason since they have lots of needs to address. They weren't able to fix Canning so I like that they're moving on from him.
From only making the playoffs once in Mike Trout's legendary career, to committing money to the absolute wrong players, to letting Ohtani go for free, Angels fans have it exceptionally worse than almost any other fanbase in sports today.
Nah. No playoffs in a while but 2002 still stands, and a lot of fun teams and great talent here over the years. Yeah this stretch sucks, but most teams go through it across all sports.
I honestly don’t hate the move. I think it’s more of a chess move. If they stink next year and Soler looks great, you dump him for a prospect. Essentially paying for a prospect like the Mets did with Scherzer.
I wonder if perhaps they are thinking they could flip in some sort of trade package to another team? Might be throwing stuff up against the wall but the comments of Angels fans (due respect) below it is a head scratcher.
I looked it up it ain’t really a bad move. Like they have 4 starters locked in already Reid Detmers, Soriano, Anderson, and Sandoval. They need to fill some of those starting pitching roles maybe they will try to sign someone this upcoming season. Soler is not that terrible to balanced out their lineup they have too many contact guys on their roster. The Angles is not that terrible as you guys pretend it to be trust me they are decent.
Soler is primary DH, takes over for Trout in the field when Trout is DH(about 30 games). This presumes Trout will no longer play CF. One possibility: Trout being traded...
I think what Marc is saying that even if Soler is a great player, he doesn't move the needle enough for how much budget space he's going to be occupying. This trade doesn't even make the angels a 70 win team, much less an 80+ win team that might slide into a wildcard spot. The Angels need to fully rebuild and tear everything down, and this move is the opposite of that. Essentially, being bad in the MLB is actually better than being mid because you will get higher draft picks most likely and you will be spending less money on payroll that is unneeded. That extra payroll money can go into player developement, scouting, ect.
They literally have like a great young core. Neto, O’hoppe and Schanuel are great prospects that they have. If Mike Trout stays healthy and the Angels get some 1-2 decent starting pitching and bullpen pieces they can definitely contend. I’m not the delusional type fan I’m realistic when it comes to evaluating teams, the angels have a shot.
I'll always be a Soler fan because of what he did for ATL in the world series, that game 6 bomb will never be forgotten. But I'm very glad this happened. Even if the new pitcher does nothing, the salary dump was worth it. Good luck to him in Anaheim.
Life of a Halos fan. Watch this team continue to make embarrassingly moronic decisions while our neighbor does the right things every time and gets a championship out of it.
So Canning is so much worse than Soler. But the Braves are really smart for this move and Angels are stupid? 🤦🏻♂️ This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. Neto, Ohoppe, Christian Moore and Schanuel but all they have is trout? Yeah, OKAY. Funny lol
I have no flipping idea why we did this. I can only see that we are freeing up space so we can overpay Buehler while also getting more power in the lineup. Just why did it have to be an outfielder!
I don’t see Buehler leaving the Dodgers just yet especially since he’s put himself in the position to get more money than previously expected thanks to his October performance
I think Buehler takes the qualifying offer from the Dodgers. He turned down 200 million to try and become a 300 million dollar pitcher. Now he is just gonna accept some 3 year 50 mill deal? No chance. He will just take the 21 mill qualifying offer from the Dodgers and try to prove he is an ace pitcher still in 2025. Which will be his first fully healthy year in 3 years
I think this is a good signing, so long as there are smarter ones coming up. Perry is saying this is the start of being "aggressive." Either way though, our batting lineup is just better w Soler in it
As an Angels fan, I'm not sad about losing Canning, the Angels have a lot of young guys that could fill in starting roles as far as depth goes. Not really happy that they're not getting to develop as much in the minors, but that's just become the Angels way it seems. If Soler is the DH, I wonder if putting Trout in one of the corner OF spots would ease the burden at all, I kinda doubt it. On another note, super happy to see offseason videos from Marc, I probably watch him the most in the offseason, because of trades and free agents and everything else.
This looks like the Spenser Trumbal that the Phillies made last year. Canning as you point out could be a long inning reliever plus the 26 milllon to possibly bring in anthoner starter. Feel like this is a make or break offseason for Altntla and this could be a ver underrated start to it
as an angels fan i feel great about soler and also that canning gets another shot with a different team that can improve his plus changeup and slider. If arte keeps spending like this I'm optimistic, if this is our biggest move, Arte and Perry both gotta go
Maybe they think Soler will be a trade target for some team that needs offense, and this puts them in a better spot to get the players they actually want?
Marc doesn’t understand the angels have pitching that does enough to keep us in the games we play. It’s our offense using analytical crap and not going with their gut which is what has us struggling to score runs (and our owner meddling in operations). I love Marc’s content but at times when he talks angels, he doesn’t realize that his takes are false
Great content, as always! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
It's becoming clearer and clearer all the praise heaped on Anthopoulos over the last few years naming him as the clear best GM in baseball has started to go to his head. Letting some of their best players and hearts and souls of the team leave and making strange trades. If this move leads to helping him signing Max Fried than all will be forgiven but the past has shown us it doesn't matter how good and how important a player is to the teams success he'll send them on their way. If we were coming off the 2023 season this move would have maybe been understandable but were not. This is 2024 and with much fewer homeruns letting arguably the top power guy leave makes little sense. Braves fans all over will be personally offended if he doesn't offer Fried a good offer after hearing what he offered Aaron Nola last offseason. Nola doesnt hold a canle to Fried. He is nowwhere near the pitcher Fried is. Think about it with a highschool rotation of him, Jack Flaherty and Lucas Giolito Fried was #1.
i think that the trade really just reads bad. we aren't a team that should've TRYING to be competitive. we're still pissed about not cashing in on guys like rengifo and tyler anderson value at the sparse deadline. we need to rebuild around ohoppe and neto and it just feels like arte is throwing away a decent start to a rebuild.
My only hope here for the sake of Angels fans is that this is literally the first official day of the offseason and theres atill like 5 months to make more moves. MAYBE this is just the start of same bigger picture plan the Angels have to turn things around in this offseason
I don’t understand why you think griff could be good in Anaheim when for the last 5 years he’s been 5+ ERA. And yeah, sure, he’s an innings eater, but do innings eaters matter when they’re giving up 3 runs an inning and losing us games?
Eh, as an Angels fan I'm fine with the trade. Canning at his best was a below average late rotation guy. Soler is taking at bats from guys like Willy Calhoun and Nik Kavadas. That's a major upgrade. If the off-season consists of extending Rengifo, Neto, O'Hoppe and getting a good starting pitcher I'm fine.
I'm good with this trade. The angels have given griffin plenty of time and opportunity. I think Canning can be good but won't reach his full potential without a change of scenery. Angels needed a bat with some pop and got one for the next 2 years now. If trout moves to the corner he won't need to be a full time DH in my opinion. I don't see how this trade is bad for either side. But hey I'm not a GM lol.
If you watched Canning pitch over the last six years like Angels fan, you would understand why we’re done with him. Picking up Soler is just Arte trying to compete since we can’t get the top ten pick next year anyways if we get it this year.
Don’t think the Angels deserve the amount of criticism you’re dishing out in this video. We cannot depend on Trout to stay healthy, people said we shouldn’t sign JD Martinez for the same reasons your stating last year and look what happened. Trout and Soler will share the DH spot and there will be plenty of AB’s to go around. Trouts numbers historically as a DH hitter are down compared to when he plays the field and he has said himself he does not prefer it as he likes to be more involved in the game. There is a lot more to it then what your commenting on, and 13M/year for a good DH bat is pretty standard in todays game. Overall I think you went a little overboard on the Angels (easy target but deserved). Love the content though, keep it up!!!

I hate our owner. As an angels fan I very very much hate our owner.
At least you’re not a Rockies and angels fan like me😭
Angels fan here.
That makes no sense considering the plan to keep him healthy was to make him a DH
@@johndurrer7869There’s no guarantee that he even stays healthy at DH.
Angels chances for Fried just went from about 40% to 2%
@@johndurrer7869 Angels aren’t about to spend money on a SP. they never have
@@johndurrer7869 there was 0% chance Fried was going to the Angels even before this trade
Canning was a non tender candidate. Projected arbitration is 5m. It’s a net salary of 7.5m for soler who is an above average hitter. This is nothing but positive…hilarious that you’re bashing it.
Genuinely think at this point Caden Dana will be the best angels pitcher next season
The trade was another stroke of genius from Anthopolous for the Braves. Frees up 26 million without losing anything.
Every move he makes? He made the Ohoppe for Marsh move that’s looking pretty good for the Halos. As well as the Estevez move this deadline, getting 2 top pitching prospects. Lol
Great now Canning will be a top 3 starter in ATL 🤦🏼♂️ Fried is definitely gone now
Exactly the opposite, $16 million is now freed up for Fried
no he won't? if Fried doesn't come back, the Braves still have Sale, Schwellenbach, and López. they also have Strider when he comes back from injury and also guys like Smith-Shawver, Ian Anderson, and Hurston Waldrep in the minors that could also be ahead in the rotation.
@ 1. Strider 2. Sale 3. Canning. Watch he’s gonna take over his stuff is nice and the Braves turn these kind of guys to gold. This from a Phillies fan
@@1OnlyGot7 Canning sux. Watch some baseball.
@@johndurrer7869 Disagree, its going to a new shortstop
1. Neto SS
2. Rengifo 3B
3. Trout LF
4. Soler DH
5. Ward RF
6. Schanuel 1B

As a royals fan, I know what they are doing. The 2025 Angels just wanna be the 2018 KC Chiefs. Next they will get Alonso, Soto, Gleyber, and Bregman
This Soler trade does tell me that it is signaling that they are potentially trading Mike Trout this offseason
Poor guy. The angels are the west coast white Sox .
It's a nice start but they need more moves than that to be competitive. The lineup is average at best and the pitching is horrible.
The angels let Ohtani walk for nothing
Is anything really surprising anymore with them?
This trade will help the Mets win the 2025 World Series
$13 million a year for an impact bat isn't too bad. 2024 was a year the Angels didn't try to contend. They played all their young guys to see what they have and where they need to improve. Look for them to be very active this offseason since they have lots of needs to address. They weren't able to fix Canning so I like that they're moving on from him.
This is actually a pretty solid trade, he lengthens the lineup, makes Adell expendable; and Canning was a C+ pitcher on his best day
From only making the playoffs once in Mike Trout's legendary career, to committing money to the absolute wrong players, to letting Ohtani go for free, Angels fans have it exceptionally worse than almost any other fanbase in sports today.
Angels have been "quick fixing" for years and have continously fell to the bottom
We have Caden Dana and other prospects that are better than Canning. This was a steal for the Angels. Adding power to the lineup.
I wonder if perhaps they are thinking they could flip in some sort of trade package to another team? Might be throwing stuff up against the wall but the comments of Angels fans (due respect) below it is a head scratcher.
Literally the only thing I can see them doing is trying to make soler a 1st basemen but that’s the only thing I can think of
I looked it up it ain’t really a bad move.
I like this trade for the angels I just wanna know why the hell trout is still in Los Angeles
Soler is primary DH, takes over for Trout in the field when Trout is DH(about 30 games). This presumes Trout will no longer play CF.
One possibility: Trout being traded...
They are just going to trade solar 5 weeks before the deadline
Utility players tier list
Hot take: Griffin Canning will have a breakout season. Max Fried who?
Griffin Canning is good, I watched him multiple times when Ohtani was there. I think his issue is his usage of pitches and he plays for the Angels 🤣
Marc us angels fans hate our whole front office. I don’t even bother watching anymore. This team is straight depressing.
This trade sucks. Why not take soler’s and Hendricks money and put towards a real staring pitcher.
I'll always be a Soler fan because of what he did for ATL in the world series, that game 6 bomb will never be forgotten. But I'm very glad this happened. Even if the new pitcher does nothing, the salary dump was worth it. Good luck to him in Anaheim.
Agreed
Canning sucks, we definitely leveled up and 26 million is nothing for a good bat.
Canning blew so many leads...it wasn't just the bad stats.
marc when are you going to do free agent predictions? very excited for that vid. keep up the good work!
7:37 “and that’s why Dylan Covey will lead the Mets to the 2025 World Series”
Life of a Halos fan. Watch this team continue to make embarrassingly moronic decisions while our neighbor does the right things every time and gets a championship out of it.
And that’s why the Mets will win the World Series in 2025
Braves non tendered canning lolol
The Angels have done another weird move.
as an angels fan, this will probably be my last year watching this sport, it’s already a boring sport
“And thats why the Mets should’ve traded for both griffen canning and Jorge solar”
Angels were 28th in the league in slugging soo that explains adding Soler
So Canning is so much worse than Soler. But the Braves are really smart for this move and Angels are stupid? 🤦🏻♂️ This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. Neto, Ohoppe, Christian Moore and Schanuel but all they have is trout? Yeah, OKAY. Funny lol
Braves already have a Ozuna. No need for Soler. I just can’t believe they chose to eat the whole contract.
They didn’t. The angels picked it up
Angels setting up to finally trade Trout
Starting OF for the Mets '25': Nimmo LF
Trout CF
Soto RF
I have no flipping idea why we did this. I can only see that we are freeing up space so we can overpay Buehler while also getting more power in the lineup. Just why did it have to be an outfielder!
I don’t see Buehler leaving the Dodgers just yet especially since he’s put himself in the position to get more money than previously expected thanks to his October performance
I wanna see us land a severino, maybe Shane Bieber, or even Nick pivetta
I think Buehler takes the qualifying offer from the Dodgers. He turned down 200 million to try and become a 300 million dollar pitcher. Now he is just gonna accept some 3 year 50 mill deal? No chance. He will just take the 21 mill qualifying offer from the Dodgers and try to prove he is an ace pitcher still in 2025. Which will be his first fully healthy year in 3 years
@@Wolf-wc1js The Angels are always itching to get someone who have had big Octobers like Freese and Rendon

who cares Artie could make 25 moves this offseason and this Angels team is still winning 75 games tops.
More hate on the Angels I see 🤦♂️
As am angels fan I think there using him as deadline beat hopefully
I didn’t come for a commercial.
I think this is a good signing, so long as there are smarter ones coming up. Perry is saying this is the start of being "aggressive." Either way though, our batting lineup is just better w Soler in it
Not only am I suprised this move happened. I'm suprised it happened right after the WS was over like right after
The trade that brought Solar to Atlanta made no sense
As an Angels fan, I'm not sad about losing Canning, the Angels have a lot of young guys that could fill in starting roles as far as depth goes. Not really happy that they're not getting to develop as much in the minors, but that's just become the Angels way it seems. If Soler is the DH, I wonder if putting Trout in one of the corner OF spots would ease the burden at all, I kinda doubt it.
On another note, super happy to see offseason videos from Marc, I probably watch him the most in the offseason, because of trades and free agents and everything else.
Perry is a double agent for the Braves that’s how it makes sense
Braves have 35 outfielders and they have some special sauce that makes average pitchers into good pitchers.
It’s nice to see the Angles still think hitting only wins games haha
This looks like the Spenser Trumbal that the Phillies made last year. Canning as you point out could be a long inning reliever plus the 26 milllon to possibly bring in anthoner starter.
Feel like this is a make or break offseason for Altntla and this could be a ver underrated start to it
Why would LAA allow AA to do this to them 😂 Guess you can say they're holding the L.
This is a nothing burger. Take it easy bro. We werent gonna fix Canning and the Soler contract is fine.
The manager is a former braves coach he's just helping his former team.
as an angels fan i feel great about soler and also that canning gets another shot with a different team that can improve his plus changeup and slider. If arte keeps spending like this I'm optimistic, if this is our biggest move, Arte and Perry both gotta go
Could Mike trout play first base like Bryce harper does ?
Saying Angels doesn’t have starting pitching is funny, they literally have so many pitchers 😂
sounds like good work by the braves. perhaps Trout is on the move?????
Looking at Charlie Morton’s retirement. And possibly Fried leaving. Canning is very good and Atlanta will be a good fit.
i think that the trade really just reads bad. we aren't a team that should've TRYING to be competitive. we're still pissed about not cashing in on guys like rengifo and tyler anderson value at the sparse deadline. we need to rebuild around ohoppe and neto and it just feels like arte is throwing away a decent start to a rebuild.
My only hope here for the sake of Angels fans is that this is literally the first official day of the offseason and theres atill like 5 months to make more moves. MAYBE this is just the start of same bigger picture plan the Angels have to turn things around in this offseason
MY TEAMS THE ANGELS 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 ALWAYS FUCKING UP
Why are they trading for Soler? If Trout is going to be full time DH, having Soler wouldn't make sense, right?
Trout is going to be in LF, I believe.
Trout gets to do what he wants and he wants to play OF.
They will likely make more moves, its fine.
Love the content though, keep it up!!!
as an angels fan, i truly believe we are the worst run franchise in the history of sports. by far.
