One of the best playthroughs I would listen to falling asleep or when working, its just comfortable and fun and even woke up me a couple times laughing at Arin's voice impression of Quirk. Thank ye for making a full playthrough video of it together. It helps :D
Growing up on Sierra games, this makes me so happy. I have fallen asleep to this so many times and no matter how many times I’ve listened to it, it never gets old
thank you so much for posting this. i have autism and space quest v is one of my special interests - so this video puts me to sleep a lot. really appreciate this video. cheers.
3:43:50 the way Star Wars deals with energy shields is by claiming that shields only block things that meet a minimum threshold for kinetic energy. So lasers and asteroids move very fast and have a lot of kinetic energy, therefore the shield will repel those. Slower moving objects have no problems passing through shields. In the Clone Wars, this is demonstrated multiple times with droidekas (the rolly droids with the shields first seen in episode 1). The protagonists would gently roll grenades at the droidekas so that they wouldn't bounce off. I always thought this made the most sense across universes as each sci-fi property with shielded ships ignores how their shields actually work most of the time. Star Wars is the only one I can think of that demonstrated exactly how their shields functioned. I'm sure Star Trek has too across the myriad spin-offs and movies that have come out, but I'm not a huge Trekkie.
19:20, No it does matter. "The speed of light" is the maximum speed light (or anything else really) can go, but it only travels that speed in a vacuum. Light in our atmosphere is slightly slower than when it's travelling through empty space.
16:44 "school is meaningless" says the high school drop out who thinks he's some profound intellectual and acts like he knows more than most people. It's shit like this that made me stop watching GG in the first place. I'm just here cause Dan loves space quest.
Arin’s “buttons buttons buttons” as Droole lives rent free in my head.
I find myself muttering that way too often lol

I agree this is in heavy rotation for my sleep videos lol
“Shouldn’t’ve put my face on that frying pan; I just wanted to smell the eggs!”
the Lunacy playthrough and this space quest playthrough has been one of my go to sleep aid so far.

me too pal hell yeah
I love the sub plot of Droole being hopelessly in love with Flo but never being noticed by her
My favorite playthrough! Thanks for this! It's the closest I'll ever get to the Grumps playing any Star Trek game~ 🖖🏽💜
Dan and Ross played Star Trek Legacy.
@@barrybend7189 I didn't know they played that! Gonna have to watch it~
Woah, rebranded the channel, it's nice. I thought someone else posted this same video for a second.

I enjoy this so much! Amazing content, best wishes to you and your future projects! 🌻
We need a space quest 6 playthrough
" AWWW WHAT THE FUCK! " is priceless
Thanks for uploading these.
omg yay favorite series
Have the grumps done enough Space themed games to make a full compilation video? Because I'd love one if so.
The best part about this game is that they are sponsored by sprint, yet sprint isnt a company anymore
Thank you❤
I mean, I'd have preferred a solo play like the majority of the other ones. Dan gets all story time mode for 95% of it.
I like to think Zap Brannigan was based on Roger Wilco.
Like to think?
Well theres no solid proof unless I can ask Futurama peeps. Would be cool if so. @@maddieb.4282
I say "missed a spot" to all my friends when they're cleaning.
Are they still your friends?😂😂😂
That was definitely not an original line to this game, you understand this?
1:46:25 I'm gonna skuuu on you
18:47 very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very fast
lmao omg when Arin said "schools meaningless" i felt that!🤣

I always enjoy watching this playthrough when its recommended, but it hurts my soul every time Dan loses his winning save in Battle Cruiser 🥲
Same thoughts. The video game gods gave, and the Video game gods took-eth away
On the bright side, his win was recorded, so we still know of it anyways
