지난 4월, 미니앨범 ‘Honestly’로 상반기를 뜨겁게 달구었던 에릭남이 가을에 어울리는 신곡으로 돌아온다.

That’s funny. I first discovered the English Version of that song half a year ago, on a time where I was still grieving about a friend I had unrequited feelings for what caused me to break off contact. Hearing „Don’t miss you“ reminded me of the last words he spoke to me, saying something like „Let me go four your sake, it’s sad but I am ok without you.“ It was like he sang that song to me. Helped me a lot, actually. Today is his birthday and after over a year, I texted him again, simply wishing him a happy birthday. He thanked me and we wished each other a better year next year. And that’s it. And it was okay. And today I find the Korean Version that describes perfectly how I feel today. It’s ok now. Yes, it still hurts sometimes but the worst is done. Thank you, Eric Nam.

listen, i don't think this gets said enough but this song and mv are truly masterpieces. eric doesn't get enough credit, his vocals never disappoint but he isn't too extravagant. his voice is clear and comforting, so familiar and warm, at the same time you know he's got unlimited potential like he can hit all the whistle notes and falsettos. his lyrics are so simple but they hit so close to home. thank you for this eric.
