      Not sure whether you are referring to Orwell or me or both. In all case the answer is yet. The satire, however, was clearly directed at the (then) Soviet Union. Some argue that Orwell leant heavily on a novel called We by the Russian novelist Zamyatin. Personally, I think that dystopian novels will share themes, styles etc - but then I'm with Team Ed Sheeran in the current pop plagiarism case!
