Someone else asked this question, but I'm unable to find the answer. Part 3 talks about using a balanced 3 thread stitch and changing the knife position to 4-5. I cannot find anything about where/how to change the knife position. Love these videos!
After trawling through tons of tutorials from people who are as much as a novice as me me, it’s a god send to find someone that really knows what there doing and to show the settings for each stitch. I am struggling badly. Please help me to hem an Organza fabric. I’ve got 3 days to do it as it’s for a Cinderella dress up dress for my Granddaughters 4th Birthday. I fear I’m not going to be able to do it. I’m using a microtex needle but think I might have to use a smaller one as you suggest. I have wash away stabiliser and was getting close but the machine is not chaining properly now. The lower looper thread keeps going over the upper looper. Is this normal. I’m guessing as it’s not changing, likely it’s not. Any advice you can give me or if you have a video for this fabric, I would be so grateful.
Hello Describing balanced three-thread you mention something about the knife position. I did not find a knife position description in the manual. Can you please help? Regards
All of this information is great but I wish I could see you actually sewing this stuff close up. I guess I need to find beginner techniques but it's hard to find videos for this machine unless you're doing a specific stitch
Always very good 😊 tutorials from this lovely lady. Thank you so much 😊 for sharing this with me

Thanks for these videos - the manual doesn't give nearly enough info and books on using sergers ignore the Brother machine.
I needed this reference. Thank you.

New and Reviewed SewingMastery.com have 33 videos which I have been learning with. The hostess Sara is really good.
Why do you use a mixture of cones and regular spools on the machine?
+cathydurham10 These videos came with the machine. Go figure.
+cathydurham10 doesn't matter what spools you use.
+JHONATTANFF Thank you. I'm such a beginner :(
cathydurham10 it's cool hehe
i just bought this serger, but i think its because those needles (over and underlocker) use more thread than the left and right needles.
I need a tutorial in Spanish please I have two dvds but these are in English
Too fast! Slow down the information.
