The swap from BFT to Priority Target and Adrenaline Rush is *100% recommended*. Swapping Expert Marksman for Main Battery Mod 2 isn't the worse thing in the world to do, but only really applies to those (like myself) who can't spend the time to farm up a dedicated captain. (less then 10 battles a week as-of-late). Strong ship.
Hmm I'll probably have to train a separate Commander for Gremyaschy, Leningrad, and Kiev as the skills required on Khabarovsk are somewhat different because as you said Khaba is THE artillery DD. And I'd use Superintendent instead of the Survivability Expert because it has good synergy with the special upgrade for the Engine Boost.

The captain skill spec is much less of a problem now after the Russian DD tech tree change. Yes, you need Last Stand, Expert Marksman, BFT, AFT and Concealment Expert. (Demo Expert is great too). However, that captain is perfect for Izyaslav, Podvoisky (CE for torp rush), Gnevny and Minsk. Add in Okhotnik and Gremyaschy as other Premiums to share the same captain and it's worth it. It's not until Tier 8 that you need a different captain for Kiev, Udaloi and Khabarovsk. I recently had a Leningrad battle with 1.9mm Potential Damage. She really is that hard to hit.

Can you try with a 10 point captain ? I am starting to hate sub 9 tier ship vids with 19 point captains. I have 8 point captains in my Minsk and Gnevny, the highest captain on my ships is 12 points. I guess most of the "normal" players are on similar levels. Showing how the ship performs with 19 point captain is useless for many ....

I think (and correct me if I'm wrong, Flamu) it's okay for the Leningrad to go because it's fast enough to bail if the enemy team is there in force whereas other DDs and, especially, cruisers and BBs can get caught there and chopped up piecemeal. Personally, I think one DD going to at least contest A is perfectly fine (provided there are DDs for the other caps as well); it's when a majority of the team lemming trains to A that things become a problem because it takes away so much support for the other capture points. When half the team is bunched up behind those massive islands at A they can't do anything to support the rest of the team at B or C and at that point it's almost a guaranteed thing that the enemy team with take both of those points. Then they're forced to either sail wide of the B cap by going all the way around the islands which takes way too much time or they have to sail between the islands which makes it very, very easy for the enemy to focus their fire and knock them out one by one.

I find it better sometimes to slot my Moskva captain in the Lenigrad instead of my Khaba's. Cruiser captain's skills fit better in it.

You get them from playing Ranked or out of containers.I think he mentioned it when going over the build at the end.
Akatsuki concealment is very bad~6.4km which makes it only a 200m difference, but Shiratsuyu is a good example with less than 6km concealment
