I would have rather seen 2yr $40-44 mil he is going to be 33 when the season starts. Bulls still lack size and depth at big even if Drummond is there. They were not getting a better C for the money and I think a coaching change is the recipe to get this team on track so overall B for this move it makes sense and not much alternative
since you were talking about zachs salary and how it wont be bad of a deal down the road... check out voochs salary. its ONLY 14.7% of the cap. which is 136M. 10 years ago with the cap at 59M... Taj with 7.8M was taking that percentage out of our cap. Its a good deal for 20M.
I said in the video I think this deal is very fair value for Vuc. 20 mil is the equivalent of 18 mil from last years salary cap and Vuc made 22 mil last year. I think it's a very fair deal for Vucevic's production and won't be an issue if we look to trade him. The question isn't about how much is Vuc getting paid. The question is what are the Bulls doing? If they're gonna double down on this group, which the Vuc extension signifies, how are they going to improve this team without going into the luxury tax?
Is this a sarcastic comment or a real question? I can't tell, especially from u salty solution who has been praying for a rebuild and constantly asking for the Bulls to move on from this core I'll answer saying I think it's pretty easy to say Vuc isn't a top 10 center Jokic Embiid Adebayo Sabonis Davis Allen Turner Porzingis Gobert Lopez (No particular order. Just listing guys) U can make an argument about Poeltl, Capela, Valanciunas, and Adams I'd argue Valanciunas is better but thats it out of that group
@@theslamduncan I was thinking more along the lines of box plus/minus, which apparently vooch is 10th on that list while also being 8th on win shares. Somehow I just noticed he was also the best defensive rebounder this season
I don't see Sabonis listed on ESPNs plus minus for centers. So if Vuc is listed 10th and Sabonis isn't listed for whatever reason, Vuc is 11th for that stat
Do you like or dislike the Bulls extending Vucevic to a three-year, $60 million deal? Tell me why

I agree with the two-year deal. I would've much rather seen that but here we are. I'm hoping the third year is non-guaranteed somehow
Vucevic's contract is fully guaranteed
*sigh*

What do you think the Bulls will do next this offseason?
No way you actually believe vooch isn't a top 10 center in the league 😰 does him being an allstar mean nothing?

@@theslamduncan what does the stats say? Like analytically who are the 10 best centers
If you're using EPM, Vuc is like in the high 20s or 30s. Not gonna count. He's way down there but I don't usually use those type of stats
