Visite de Factory Butte et ses alentours dont le magnifique Skyline View Overlook avec ses vues à couper le souffle .Nous étions seul devant cet immense territoire situé à l'ouest de Hanksville Utah et dans la partie sud de " San Rafael Swell" .Qui est une grande entité géologique de plus de 2000 milles carré de terre public et connus pour ses formations en grès pittoresque.

Visit of Factory Butte and its surroundings including the magnificent Skyline View Overlook with its breathtaking views. We were alone in front of this huge territory west of Hanksville Utah and in the southern part of "San Rafael Swell" .Who is a large geological feature of more than 2000 square miles of public land and known for its scenic sandstone formations.

I would spend 2 or 3 months again in Utah no problem we loved it so much .
I went skiing today for the first time this year . The conditions were quite good. St-Sauveur ski center has a new chairlift which have 6 places per chair and is heated also ...big luxury!
Hélène has still a few Christmas market until Christmas to sell her greetings cards...you know that Hélène makes cards?
On Facebook it’s " Cartes d’Hélène " i always help her to sell and transport her card .

Utah is amazing if we go back in western United States for sure a big part of the trip will be there again .
It’s our french friends from France 🇫🇷 (Michel Lavallée and Nicole ) that told us about Hanksville and it’s environment , ah ! c’est Français....😂
Mars desert research station and Factory butte is not indicated nowhere around there you have to go on those dirt roads and discover it by yourself.
It’s keeps secretly I think 🤔

Bonjour Hélène et Serge ,tu n'a pas finit de nous surprendre avec ton programme de montage vidéo ,le parcours sur la carte , les titres, et c'est nouveau les flashs avec le son , très agréable visuellement et que dire de tes prises de vues elles sont époustouflantes avec des couleurs superbes et une musique qui va très bien avec tes images. Je viens de voir qu'il y avait une seconde vidéo , nous nous précipitons pour la regarder Bonne fin de semaine Amitiès NICMIC .

Si tu as lu la description tu verras que j’ai de la musique qui m’a été prêté quasiment en exclusivité par Sébastien Brunner de France "Lazy Pixel " sur RUclips il est un compositeur fantastique de musique ambient . Il vient tout juste ce matin me proposer un autre pièce de musique .Le second vidéo est composé de quelques secondes de vidéos au début suivie de photos prise par Hélène et environ deux de moi seulement .De cette façon cela faisait un petit vidéo et allégeait mon autre qui est d’environ 15 minutes .
Merci encore pour tout ce que vous avez fait pour nous dans ce voyage fantastique.

You are right. This would be the perfect spot for us to have a little off roading adventure in Utah. I've saved this in my watchlist to remind me if I forget Factory Butte and how to get to it. It is stunning. This is exactly the kind of off roading Bill loves.
I am sure you will love the views and there’s also a campground near the dirt road entry with no service ☹️ but you can stay at the one in Hanksville they have full hookup’s. I suggest you to go at Mars also it’s so nice here’s the video and info to go there .

With a Jeep you can even go further on this road because I didn’t because I had only my Ford Escape which is not suited for these kind of roads
You will also probably be alone there which is a great feeling !
I bet it really gives you that sense of freedom on the roads with virtually no one around.

@@SergeCousineau i let you know ;) 2020 i go back to Canada to finish my trip : my plan is ( Waterton Lakes National Park / Glacier National Park / Banff National Park / Yoho National Park i hope to see Lake O'Hara view and all the way up to Jasper ) and maybe Nationaal park Kootenay to see the view of Mount Assiniboine ^^

Lake O’Hara you have to be quick because the reservations goes fast ...last year I wasn’t fast enough and it was only about a minute that the pool was open ...😢
The Dutchmen Mount Assiniboine I saw it when I went skiing at Sunshine village in 2016 it was far but we could see it on that clear blue sky day . I have a video of that day on my channel ...but i wasn’t as good as today filming ...had only a Gopro ...Lol! 😂

It is a dangerous place because there is no protection and you never know when they maybe a rock slide ....😳

Winter was early this year but we had rain yesterday here but snow starting from St-Jerome and up north .I am going skiing ⛷ this morning for the first time of the year but it started since a few weeks at St-Sauveur and Tremblant last weekend.

@@SergeCousineau Wow, snow, ski and cool/cold weather would be nice. Here we get 2 seasons. Warm and Dry (our "winter" average temps 15/25 Celsius) and Hot and Humid (our "summer" average temps 26/33 Celsius). It is the tropics after all and if we ever get snow, the whole planet would be frozen over;). We probably will spend Christmas in the swimming pool and in A/C comfort during meal times. Summer in the tropics is unfortunately too hot and steamy to be enjoyed outdoors most of the time and we also get cyclones and monsoonal rains during that time. The best time is usually from May to October for us. Anyway, good luck with markets and I cross my fingers for you for more snow!! Take care, my friends. Laurie & Karen

Been there several times. It’s awesome. There’s also a dinosaur quarry nearby. And you can find shark teeth on the ground in some places. Maybe a European thing, but the music in the first few minutes was like fingernails on the chalkboard of my soul! Got better after that though.
