Loved the aerial view that you did at the 5:10 point of this video. That was so cool!

Otherworldly it really is. That rock looks like something from outer space

We just love Utah, especially areas like these where hardly anyone else is around. As always thanks for watching and commenting on our vids!

Just returned from Hanksville and these places exceeded my expectations, especially Moonscape Overlook. One has to be there to appreciate the scale

I enjoyed watching your video three times. I know where Moonscape Overlook is. I hope to camp there one night. It is an epic location! I know Factory Butte is fairly close to Moonscape Overlook. Can you see Factory Butter from Moonscape Overlook? Where is Long Dong Silver in relation to Moonscape Overlook and Factory Butte? Is it within sight of either one? I'm planning a trip to Hanksville and other Utah locations in the August heat.

You can clearly see Factory Butte from Moonscape Overlook. Long Dong Silver is not far away. You’ll need to get back on Hwy 24 and head towards Hanksville. I’ll copy some information on finding Long Dong Silver. Take care and enjoy this awesome area.
“Long Dong Silver is located off Utah Highway 24 about 7 miles west of Hanksville. Use these coordinates to find the starting point: 38.369457, -110.840582. As you reach this point, be on the lookout for a good place to pull off on the north side of the road.”

Thank you for sharing your experience in the Hanksville Area. It certainly is an awesome landscape. I am wondering... What types of vehicles can travel Factory Butte Road and Skyline View Road? Thanks again!

Hello! We drove the roads in a CR-V. There were a couple of spots where we had to creep over but we never came close to bottoming out. I think you could do it in a standard passenger car if you took it easy. Thanks for watching and the kind remark. Let us know if you venture that way.and what your experience was like. Happy trails!

@@BuckeyeDrifters I have a AWD Mazda CX-30. I figure if your CR-V can manage and the weather cooperates, it will be a wonderful experience. Thank you for your help.
