I think Will's attitude towards Pansexuality is very indicative of a lot of Gay and Queer men's opinions and attitudes. I hope that is something that we've moved beyond in the last few years.
Look how Kurt was on Glee, when Blaine considered going on a date with Rachel in Season 2. When Blaine thought he was Bisexual, Kurt said a similar comment to what Will said, and he got called out on it.

Let me start by saying that pansexuality is valid. That being said, what Pastry Chef was trying to do in forcing Will and Karen to conform to the practices of his sexuality when neither of them are pan or even bisexual is 100% wrong. Not to mention the fact that he was involved with multiple people with those people thinking their relationship with him was monogamous, but in fact he was practicing polygamy without any of his partner’s consent. That’s a big no.

@@Frey12 I do understand however Will and Grace is very LGBT friendly show that never intends any malice in terms of how they put across certain ideas in regards to sexuality or social issues etc. So I really don't understand why people still are triggered to such a profound level that they have to write whole litany about how the show has made an unforgivable mistake of not explaining thoroughly what pansexuality is... I mean really?
