    Awesome day exploring the Rockies near Telluride, Silverton, Ouray. Cool to see Bridal Veil Falls, North Clear Creek falls, Smuggler Union mine, Last Chance Mine, Wheeler Monument and the beautiful fall colors! And some back country and off-airport fun as well! Thanks for coming along!

    Thanks. Those pix of the tiny mule tracks on the sides of mountains brought back memories of a 4WD tour we took out of Ouray. Beautiful area. And, as you say, there is a unique ruggedness to the mountains in the area. You grow to appreciate why a .mule was a prized possession long ago.
