The only two cards you're going to need to pull out from the deck as it is in this video, are two Clash, since it will be semi-limited, along with Neos Fusion. In their place you could include at least one Cosmic Cyclone, in order to have a card which will low your LP just perfect to use the new nerfed Light and Dark skill. You could also include a second Cosmic or a Galaxy Cylclone (to clean backrow) or any other card that can protect your monsters. The banlist and the "nerfed" Light and Dark won't impact so much this deck. Also, hace in mind that other decks will be worse affected than this, so it could be a pretty good deck overall.

Good question. Honestly, I'm not pretty sure which card I could recommend. I'd say anything to deal with the backrow of your opponent or stopping your opponent's monster from attacking (Canadia, Floodgate). Cosmic Cyclone is the first one I thought of because it's one of the most popular backrow dealers since it banishes a card, at the cost of 1000 LP. Even if your opponent negates the effect of banishing, the cost of paying 1000 LP CANNOT be negated, so it is useful when using Light and Dark. Right now I can't think of any useful spell/trap which makes you pay LP and still be usefull.
@@Raximus11 Abyssal Designator is a f2p drop I believe yeah? That pays exactly 1k and you can say something really general like Dark Spellcaster (to catch Invoked, DM and Fortune Lady), Light Warrior (to remove Neos from decks) or Dark Dragon (Keeper) Edit: I guess Dark Fairy too for Darklord
I would like to add that the new Gaia knight from the structure deck also works well. You get a powerful warrior monster that's pretty easy to summon and if you use it to tribute a BLS, you can also special summon a BLS from gy due to it's ability. Plus you can also use heaven and earth to put it in your hand as it work the same with it as BLS. I used it recently and my opponent tried to banish my tribute summoned BLS, but he didn't account for Gaia's ability and I still summoned BLS and banished his powerful monster and secured the win.
I think this deck would be even better with Silent Swordsman from the regular structure deck, it will keep being F2P. It is looking really decent btw, competitive enough to climb.
I love silent swordsman and sacred soldier, yeah they should comeback to the tier list. However, I've already seen those decks being posted as kog material in DK's web.

Can you try an optimized and updated deck of this? I don't have light and dark, so I went with draw earth. I went 14-6 in 20 games with the arisen Gaia, BLS, neos engine, and turret warrior to get the combos off. Only in plat though so there is that

i use aster phoenix and i use 2 dasher guy, it'll help u to special summon any card that u draw once while dasher guy is in the grave and my skill is reinforcement. give it a try, it's great
I dont understand why some people label a deck as "Pay to play", except if it includes cards from structure deck. I build Darklord deck by not using a single cent of my real money. I have three dark lord punishment and three Ixchel. The trick? Just farm until you max out your diamond (9999), dont spend on decks that you do not plan to build anything, dont try to build every single fucking meta, and then continue to farm to get all three UR that you need. Heck even if it needs 9 UR, just keep farming and it will be free. Point is mostly it could be F2P the hard way. But thats the point of farming.
Decks that require multiple URs are usually referred to as pay to play because of the sheer investment you need to put in just to get 3 copies of a single card, especially cards in older boxes. True pay to play refers to decks that need multiple cards only available in structure decks, since you can only buy the deck with gems once and have to use actual money for subsequent purchases.

Regarding old boxes, it will only be a problem for newer players and non-consistent players, so paying is a shortcut to get what you want. When a shortcut is available, doesnt mean it is P2P, since free option through farming is still available

This happened to me a lot for newer builds that requires older UR/SR cards. And yes I had done what u said too, grinded thousands of gems just to get 2/3 copies of a specific card I need. Right timing to build deck is the key. Unless u want to stay KOG all seasons, then yeah u are required to P2P mostly, but that will be out of topic i guess

Here is a Silent Swordsman Neos BLS deck, definitely a PTW deck for those who want it Skill: Light and Dark x1 BLS - Sacred Soldier (Can be summoned in the GY, can recycle resources for Chaos Sorcerer) x2 Chaos Sorcerer (True boss, better effect than BLS - Envoy Of the Evening, and can be summoned pretty easy with the skill guarantee Arisen Gaia in your hand, also in the GY can be resource for another Chaos Sorcerer) x3 Charging Gaia (Searcher for BLS when tributed, a Light and Dark target) x3 Arisen Gaia (Core card in the deck, Special Summon BLS from hand or GY when tributed, material for Chaos Sorcerer, best Light and Dark target to search) x3 Silent Swordsman (Tribute 2 Gaia to summon, can float, best thing to tribute your Gaia, and very PTW) x1 Destiny Hero Decider (Yep, it can block a Blue Eyes player, and can be swapped for Silent Swordsman with the skill) x1 Silent Swordsman Lv7 (A Garnet, but can be swapped for Arisen Gaia with the skill) x3 Neos Fusion (Send Bacon Saver, or in some case, a useless Silent Swordsman) x2 Neos (Also a Garnet, 1 is enough but I drop 2 for consistency. You can't. The combo is to light and dark for keeper of dragon magic. Then you summon keeper, search with its effect. If you have red eyes fusion you can't summon keeper then use red eyes fusion.
It can work but the problem is that if you search it with keeper you cant activate it that turn because you cant normal or special summon the turn you red eyes fusion

im also using a black luster soldier deck but a lil bit different combination. and i use 24 cards. and it also f2p. im proud that this deck is back cuz i use it a lot of time, fav of all time
@@exodus1823 my deck is 3 bls ss 1 chaos hunter 2 dasher guy 1 ad changer 3 valkyrian knight 3 beginning of heaven 3 clash and the rest is up to u. u can play more backrow. if u wanna save against dragon deck that has a lot of damage, u can use any trap that boost ur attack or reduce enemy atk or even i use claw of hermos to summon red eyes sword, with only one of that equipped to ur bls, it boosted up at least 1.5k atk. that's gg ^^
Love it im all for team no money spent on duel links. Hopefully you can make more decks like this it would really help out the community that just want to have fun an doesn’t have to feel overwhelmed when pvping and look forward to grinding for gems.

@@Hashshashiyin Yeah that's true. More keepers would make the skill redundant. Though for me I just like having two of both because of Mirage Dragons effect to stop traps are nice when going for lethal. Plus it let's me have four keepers/mirages depending on what I need. It's funny that I always try to do f2p as much as possible that it's hard to think of anything else to make the deck more consistent. There are probably other cards out there that I can't think of.

Here is a Silent Swordsman Neos BLS deck, definitely a PTW deck for those who want it
Skill: Light and Dark
x1 BLS - Sacred Soldier (Can be summoned in the GY, can recycle resources for Chaos Sorcerer)
x2 Chaos Sorcerer (True boss, better effect than BLS - Envoy Of the Evening, and can be summoned pretty easy with the skill guarantee Arisen Gaia in your hand, also in the GY can be resource for another Chaos Sorcerer)
x3 Charging Gaia (Searcher for BLS when tributed, a Light and Dark target)
x3 Arisen Gaia (Core card in the deck, Special Summon BLS from hand or GY when tributed, material for Chaos Sorcerer, best Light and Dark target to search)
x3 Silent Swordsman (Tribute 2 Gaia to summon, can float, best thing to tribute your Gaia, and very PTW)
x1 Destiny Hero Decider (Yep, it can block a Blue Eyes player, and can be swapped for Silent Swordsman with the skill)
x1 Silent Swordsman Lv7 (A Garnet, but can be swapped for Arisen Gaia with the skill)
x3 Neos Fusion (Send Bacon Saver, or in some case, a useless Silent Swordsman)
x2 Neos (Also a Garnet, 1 is enough but I drop 2 for consistency. Can be swapped for Arisen with the skill)
x1 Bacon Saver (Material for Chaos Sorcerer, or just banish and block an attack)
x1 A/D Changer (Optional, I would prefer Bacon Saver because it's a Dark, but it's your choice)
x1 Treachrous Trap Hole (Tech, just to trigger people lol, especially those that don't have target protection)
Extra Deck:
x3 Brave Neos (for PTW mark)
x3 Ojama King (bluffs to make people think you play Blue Eyes)
I know it's 22 cards deck, but you can cut TTH and a A/D Changer out for a 20 cards deck. You can also cut the Neos engine and put in more Chaos Sorcerer, Level 4 Dark Warrior and some good spells like Enemy Controller (Trigger both Gaia effect) and World Legacy Clash (Protection for your monster and reset Gaia original attack, drop opponent monster attack for 2300 ATK)
Any decent substitute for Valkyrian Knight or anything to make the deck consistent? Wasn't around for the event.

You can't. The combo is to light and dark for keeper of dragon magic. Then you summon keeper, search with its effect. If you have red eyes fusion you can't summon keeper then use red eyes fusion.
It can work but the problem is that if you search it with keeper you cant activate it that turn because you cant normal or special summon the turn you red eyes fusion

im also using a black luster soldier deck but a lil bit different combination. and i use 24 cards. and it also f2p. im proud that this deck is back cuz i use it a lot of time, fav of all time

@@exodus1823 my deck is 3 bls ss 1 chaos hunter 2 dasher guy 1 ad changer 3 valkyrian knight 3 beginning of heaven 3 clash and the rest is up to u. u can play more backrow. if u wanna save against dragon deck that has a lot of damage, u can use any trap that boost ur attack or reduce enemy atk or even i use claw of hermos to summon red eyes sword, with only one of that equipped to ur bls, it boosted up at least 1.5k atk. that's gg ^^
Love it im all for team no money spent on duel links. Hopefully you can make more decks like this it would really help out the community that just want to have fun an doesn’t have to feel overwhelmed when pvping and look forward to grinding for gems.
Well there Is a lot of people like me Who would rather play duel links Just 1 month at year,so the only way to Be competitive for me is to buy a deck when they are in offer 3$,i would rather do that than playing night and day Just to.gain.gems and farm all the time.My time Is more important than a few bucks

Yes it is but the world of legacy is limited to two now and the keeper is on banlist.

i got mine playing casual games with suicide decks
Usw Skill lottery ? If you have no chips left probably by just playing. If you dont have them on max lv just play ranked for some wins too get easy exp and rewards. I do not suggest suicide Decks they are Lamé and give no fun while playing
If you can get a few wins with no skill in ranked do that, so much faster than casual duels.

Well you could just add more keepers instead of having three of mirage dragon. Also you'll need 2/3 cosmic cyclones now to activate the nerfed skill.
@@n0b0dyn03sm3 TY SIR idk why i didnt think of more keepers instead of dragons, but if you run more keepers ig you wouldnt need more cyclones since you dont really need the skill to get a keeper. You could prolly just run a different skill in general and maybe throw in another card? Idk
@@Hashshashiyin Yeah that's true. More keepers would make the skill redundant. Though for me I just like having two of both because of Mirage Dragons effect to stop traps are nice when going for lethal. Plus it let's me have four keepers/mirages depending on what I need.
It's funny that I always try to do f2p as much as possible that it's hard to think of anything else to make the deck more consistent. There are probably other cards out there that I can't think of.
I tried building this deck wasted soo many gems trying to Gett lagacy, only to realise the ban list destroyed this deck 😢
