Regarding the question on adoption and Islam. Please refer to the Holy Qu'ran: Sura Al-Ahzab verse: 5 Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers, that is more just with Allâh. But if you know not their father's (names, call them) your brothers in faith and Mawâlîkum (your freed slaves). And there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allâh is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.

There is absolutely no racism in Islam. And yes Muslims do come in all sorts of colours (I am a ginger Muslim from Iraq). There is a difference between Islam and Muslims. How can there be racism between us if we are all brothers and descendants of Prophet Adam (as)

Racism was the 1st act committed by Iblis against Adam (AS) & the 1st act of defiance against ALLAH (SWT). Let us seek refuge from the accursed one & seek refuge in ALLAH (SWT) and his religion Islam. Let us not discriminate against each other.
