Hello Tips And Tricks Enjoyers 😎😎😎
I think it's important to be able to change my mind on things. There's no way my first instinct is right 100% of the time so I try to not be so set in my ways on this stuff.
I tried my best to only speak from experience because I believe that it makes a stronger argument than observation. My initial draft for this video had a lot of "you should" statements in there and it didn't sit right with me. That's why I came at this video from the angle of describing my music experiences and where I was wrong in the past. That being said, anecdotal evidence like personal experiences are somewhat isolated examples and aren't always valid arguments if I'm trying to make blanket statements about the truth. If there's a stronger case out there like statistical evidence I'd change my mind again. My experience is just one data point and could be an outlier.

This is really what I look for in artists, the key thing is general experience with music and then make your music match your energy and personality and it will automatically feel more real / original, even if it's a style many people have already done. Be yourself and let the music show your energy
