Who textured the crown molding? That looks terrible.

The previous owner. The walls and ceilings had cracked badly and they textured the ceiling to cover the cracks in the plaster. I haven't had the time to try and remove it, but have been told how to soften it and scrape it off without damaging the molding. I agree, it looks like crap!
