Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the company's first two-wheeler which will meet the upcoming BS6 emission regulations. The BS6 emission norms will come into effect from April 1, 2020, and all two-wheelers and four-wheelers to be sold and registered from that date will need to meet the new regulations. The Honda Activa 125 BS-VI has a revised 125 cc, programmed fuel-injected engine which gets lighter internal components, as well as new features to give it fresh appeal, as an all-new model.
The starting price for the Honda Activa 125 ex-showroom price in Pondicherry starts from Rs 79,280. The Activa 125 is available in 3 variants. The entry-level Honda Activa 125 Drum variant is priced at Rs 79,280 (ex-showroom Pondicherry) and the top-end Honda Activa 125 Disc variant costs Rs 86,453 (ex-showroom Pondicherry).
The new Honda Activa 125's 124 cc BS6 engine is programmed fuel-injected but puts out marginally less power than the carburetted BS-IV Activa 125. The updated engine makes 8.18 bhp of Power and 10.3 nm of Torque . The lighter internal components in the engine are said to reduce friction resulting in significant refinement in performance, and the new model also gets Honda Eco Technology (HET), along with what is called "enhanced smart power", or ESP, which includes a noiseless alternate current generator (ACG) starter. Plus, the new Activa 125 will also run on regular BS4 fuel as well.

Bought Activa 125 last week. Butter smooth engine. I also have an Access 125 bs4. Pick up and seat space way better in Access. Donno about Access 125 bs6 version. Green Apple color in Access 125 2022 was very tempting. Quality of Honda way ahead of competition. I also tested Fascino Hybrid and Jupiter 125.
