Thanks for your comment, if your a practical person you can't help notice when a design could be better and this vice had plenty of scope for improvement as good as it is.

Thanks for your comments Sam, I with be adding some more info about the vice and the mill soon. but there is a difference between my early version and the latest updated versions of this machine which now has a longer table and fine feed depth control. It is an ideal machine for the small workshop.
The vice comes with the springs that help keep the latch in place, that's one mod i didn't have to make. I got the vice from Arceurotrade in the UK they have lots of good tools.
I bought the vice from Arceurotrade in the UK. this is the latest design and has the widest jaw opening over the 80mm vices I had tried before. A good range of parallels makes this vice work well.
