Browns were also 7-9 I believe with Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel was a rookie. Crazy how this division can be the most competitive when all 4 teams are playing good football.
I don't, because that was the most successful stretch that the Ravens have had against the Steelers in this rivalry. (It was the same thing for the Steelers from 2020-24)
@@michaelhession2105 It’s mostly all Antonio Brown’s fault don’t get me wrong he had successful career in Pittsburgh but he off field problems became a problem on the football field.
I almost feel bad for the Bengals, how since 2000 they've consistently been a middle-sibling for the AFC north, where they have been in the shadow of the Ravens and Steelers both being consistent contenders in that time, but at least not being as bad as the Browns. Burrow is so good though, it feels like they'll finally break through and be up there at the top for a while if they can figure out how to surround him with bubblewrap and get their defense working.
They ain't no Big Ben anymore, nor Antonio Brown. And the Bengals have burrow, the most underrated QB this season due to the beginning of the season. I believe in Joe Burrow, although not a fan, but still believe.
@@Steelercards7 Indeed, playing Baltimore would result in a nightmare finish for Pittsburgh and going to Houston would help Pittsburgh. And if they were to play Houston and play KC again, then I hope they win again, although I have no shame in losing to KC either.
Andy Dalton and AJ Green for Cincinnati; Big Ben, LeVeon Bell and AB84 for Pittsburgh. And this Week 17 showdown from the 2014 NFL season happened to be a Sunday primetime game. Man, those were the days! And it's nice to know that the highlights for this game were uploaded here, ahead of the Bengals-Steelers Week 18 matchup for the current season! May the best team win!
every pass from Big Ben was a either a checkdown to Bell or a drag to AB and they took it to the house or got first downs every single time lmao it was wild
I remember rooting so hard for the Steelers to win that game. Back then the Bengals had our number because Marvin Lewis knew every single thing there was about our organization. (Now you see why we lost to the Raiders this year. Marvin's fingertips are all over it) They had beaten us twice that year, and if they won that game I did want the Ravens to have to go back to Cincinnati for the Wild Card Game. At that time, we straight up owned the Steelers even when they had the Killer B's. From 2011-16 we had won 9 of 12 against them and were never afraid of them. Once they beat Cincy on this night, I knew we were going to beat them the next week, AND WE DID! Just like that game 10 years ago, I'm rooting for the Steelers to win this game. Not because I don't want the Bengals to somehow sneak into the playoffs, but because I would rather not have to play Pittsburgh until the AFC Championship Game if it plays out that way. I WANT ANOTHER HARBAUGH BOWL!
Honestly more so. Bell let us gut people on the ground and forced defenses to bring help to the box and give Brown more 1-1s and shaded coverage and more openings for Heath, Bryant, and Wheaton. Losing Bell was the end of that season’s chances
Cincinnati Bengals Was Member AFC Central Division From 1970 To 1993 And Pittsburgh Steelers Was Member AFC Central Division From 1970 To 1993 Thanks For Uploading
Thanks for the video NFL Throwback! I don’t see why we wouldn’t play our starters cause if we loose and the Chargers win, then they will have the #5 seed and get to play the Texans while we would have to travel to face Baltimore.
We were nasty on both sides of the ball and still couldn’t win the big one what do you think is gunna happen with us this year lol it’s a joke we’re starting to get the jets vibe never gunna win one again
Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers were in the playoffs that year. AFC North was loaded.
They were all separated from one game too. Steelers at 11-5, Bengals at 10-5-1, Ravens at 10-6. Insane
Browns were also 7-9 I believe with Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel was a rookie. Crazy how this division can be the most competitive when all 4 teams are playing good football.
This gets me even more pumped up for the Vikings-Lions game this Sunday Night, but it’s for the NFC North title and the #1 seed in the NFC playoffs
it is? we weren't aware of that thanks bud 😃👍
& loser turns into a wild card 😢
AJ Green arguably the most underrated WR of 2010’s was terrible in this game literally responsible for 3 costly turnovers
I miss the Killer B's era offense
I don't, because that was the most successful stretch that the Ravens have had against the Steelers in this rivalry. (It was the same thing for the Steelers from 2020-24)
I miss the bumblebee alternate uniforms

Can’t believe this game was a decade ago already
This gets me pumped up for this Saturday. If the Steelers can’t win the AFC North, then they can just eliminate the bungles from contention
It also gives them a fair shot at a playoff win since they'll be in Houston if they finish as the 5 seed.

Yes they need to play houston!@@LiamDeege

That era of Big Ben AB Bell with no Super Bowl appearance hurts….
This is the real reason why the NFL Throwback channel on YT is extremely relevant.
Back when the AFC North was really good (minus the Browns)
It’s funny though cause Cleveland was 7-9 in 2014 and nearly won the division if they hadn’t lost 5 in a row to end the year.

It's gonna be a GREAT game Saturday night! May the best team win.....a Bengals fan.

2:00 average Andy Dalton play 😭
AB 84 was just different man, he really was on HOF trajectory
He was never the same after Vontaze Burfict hit unfortunately
By the numbers he's objectively a HOF WR. The only question is if his off the field issues keep him out permanently.

Nfl Throwback is into the Bengals these days 😂😅
Sadly, that injury to Bell doomed our chances in the playoffs. He was just as major of a component as Brown was in our offense

at 12:52 watch the ref looking at Antonio Brown's td dance. This is just like the Key and Peele sketch everybody talked about lmao.
Awesome video
i remembered this season
WHO DEY
Cincinnati Bengals Was Member AFC Central Division From 1970 To 1993 And Pittsburgh Steelers Was Member AFC Central Division From 1970 To 1993 Thanks For Uploading
IM KING OF THE NORTH!!
That lasted for like a week because the Ravens went into Heinz Field and knocked them out cold the following Saturday Night.
Reggie Nelsons helmet ended our super bowl hopes. Lev Bell was the key to the 2014 and 2015 offenses and in both years the Bengals took him out
Then Joe Flacco ended the Steelers season a week later
Collinsworth is extremely tame here. Now a QB throws a 2yd check down and "OMG, just like Patrick Mahomes 😱😱😱"
that fake punt attempt
🤣
Every NFL team ranked by their offensive line history please NFL throwback

Heeeeeath
I pray and hope the Bengals don't make the playoffs as a Steelers fan
All we have to do is beat them we’ve already beat them once in cincy
AJ Green was the biggest bum in this game
