Just got a 2023 230rs. Went with the slightly lower suspension so my shorter son can ride it. Would have preferred the non S but for the 3/4 of an inch less for my kid to learn i went with it the Rs. Super fun bike as I'm learning and only rode quads my whole life but fast and hard. Two wheel is a different animal especially the dam twist throttle. Bike is a tractor though super happy with it.

Nice trail riding. Im interested in maybe getting the KLX 230R, or the CRF250F. They seem pretty close specs wise
