I interpreted Rei’s story as her embracing her uniqueness as it’s something she’s spoken about since her debut. For example, while she wears a shirt, jumper, tie and the tweed jacket (which is similar to a lot of the people seen in her solo shots and commonly seen as formal wear) she has more eccentric details to her outfit and makeup, such as the layers and blue eyeshadow, and her outfit is much more colourful than the more neutral tones worn by everyone else in her scenes which highlights her differences to everyone else. Despite this, during all her scenes she’s either the sole focus (the subway/subway station which would usually be busy, but in Rei’s scene is empty) or the people around her aren’t in focus which likely means she doesn’t think about other people’s views on her and will live her life how she wishes, other peoples opinions are invisible to her. Towards the end she goes against what’s expected from people in society when she stands in the middle of a busy street, but she doesn’t falter in her actions even as people pass by which likely presents how she’s accepted her differences and won’t let anyone change her :) Sorry for the long comment 😭
Their encore was good on M countdown, they have a studio choom performace and a performance version on the IVE channel, they also sang it on IU palette Loved the analysis and the reaction
The shots with different girls reminded me of LOONA’s Butterfly MV. I can’t believe u haven’t had a chance to react to them yet. They are pioneers in so many aspects in this industry.
