This is my video on how I curl my bob wigs. This "technique" can also be used for long hair!
I do not use pin curls for this style and my favorite hair spray to use after completely curling the hair is the Sebastian Shaper

How did it come out?
I literally just bought that curling iron from Family Dollar for $13.99 to use on my natural hair to add body curls! Grew up using them and my old one is in storage. Love it!

The short pieces on the closure are the 'returns' from when the hair is knotted into the lace. Take a teasing brush and take small sections of hair, use the teasing brush to sort of seperate the short hairs from the long hair and then cut the short hairs off at the root. That's all the flyaway hairs are.

Damp the hair a little and hold the curl with your hand or it won’t hold it needs to cool off before you drop the hair

I’m flicted (left handed) 😂 I just discovered I can curl with flat irons but struggling with the barrel curler. I’m keep practicing though, because I need to perfect the barrel curlers. 😂😂

You can do either, but it’ll be best to mold it where you want the part to go first

I happened to come across your page because I was looking to learn how to curl my wig. I have a gender reveal to go to Sat. Long story short, I bought a Conair. I did exactly as you demonstrated & the hair didn’t curl, it just dropped like nothing was done. So, tell me, what am I doing wrong? I even tried a little holding spray & still, no curl. Please help!!😊

Sorry to hear that Karen, you can try spraying the row of hair first then curling it, I have that in my video I just posted in my page. If that doesn’t work it could honestly just be the hair, some hair isn’t the best quality and can’t really be manipulated
