Red carpet season was upon us, and my friends at @SingerSewingCompany challenged me to make a full gown in less that 4 hours.... I know, ha! Back to my Project runway days!!I filmed the entire thing on an instagram live, and I'm pleasantly surprised to have fully boned, lined, AND finished out the gown with a zipper in 4 hours. wonder what my Project Runway experience would have been like 10 years ago had I possessed this skillset I currently have, ha!

@Lemon Lily You need to watch more of his videos. He literally puts tape on a sewing body and drapes his pattern material on the dress form and makes his pattern. Yes he does get his inspiration from other pieces, but his pieces are of his own design.

@@ferryseptianherdiansyah5023 aw don’t worry! I’m sure your extremely beautiful and if someone tells you otherwise don’t believe it. If someone says you’re not beautiful it’s just one persons opinion, many people have other thoughts. And most flat women wish to be round and have a curvy body shape, your insecurities may be something someone else dreams of so it’s nothing to be insecure about.
Your display pic had me thinking I had a piece of hair on my phone 😂 was definitely trying to brush it off.

I reaaally want to see someone model your clothes, they already look so good on their own imagine how good they will look on someone.
He, a makeup artist, a stylist, a hairdresser, and a photographer should all team up on projects. Each can show their process and then their favorite photos from the shoots they do.

The armpit part would hurt like hell lol. Sequins+under the armpits=scratches all over your upper arm lol. It’s so pretty tho 💖
If u look closely the parts sticking up is actually a bit more in the front of the body vs actually in the armpits if that makes sense? At least looks that way lol
@@sophritoh it’s not just the armpits that would hurt, the arms, no matter where the sequins are (on the side of the clothing), would scratch on the arm causing ✨pain✨ lmao. And yes, your comment made sense to me lol
@Yay Yay if you have something underneath it, then what does it do for your arms. That would only protect your side underneath the clothing.
that's why ms rabbit's dress has a really low back - so yeah, this design is impractical haha. i'd recommend wearing very long gloves with it to protect your arms
@@3bugsinatrenchcoat wouldn’t the gloves only go up to the elbow tho, or a little bit past it? It just kind of seems like the upper arm would be all scratched up from the dress. It’s a beautiful dress tho and I would totally wear it 100% lol. I actually really like it 😌

Yes! I would love to see it too! People who sew and make beautiful clothing on their own have always fascinated me!! I bought a sewing machine years ago and used it very rudimentary but I was able to make a costume for myself!! Then somehow my ex- husband's mother ended up borrowing my machine and kept it!! She can sew beautifully though. My mom gave me hers and I am going to learn how to properly use it now:) I can hand sew very well btw, sequins and neat stitches looks very professional:) Been sewing by hand since I was 5 years old. I'm 45 now:)!!

My Great Grandma passed her Singer from the early 1900s to her daughter (my Grandma) and now I have it since she passed away😞 It still works too! I just wish I would have showed more interest when I sewed with my Grandma ....she was a wonderful seamstress like you.... she was able to make her own patterns and throw something together for me custom in a day or two! Watching you and how wonderfully talented you are makes me miss my lil Gramma. I love everything dress u have ever made Gunnar! You are truly an artist! And your voice is like 🧈 "buttta"!!!

That purple is popping! For bones,lining and zipper you did good for four hours. Sequins drives me crazy when you have a horrible sew machine. They were very nice to send you a new machine.

Me: **flashbacks to the time when we were trying to sew a simple design on a handkerchief (it wasn't even a design, just straight lines) and it took us more than 10 classes (each class 30 mins)**
