I’m glad I came across you Stephanie. I’ve never done any kind of canning but I have so many pears and that is my favorite so I thought I would give it a try. Nothing better than RUclips. Yep that’s where I found you 🎈I’m gonna use your technique and I even subscribe to your channel 🙏🏻so I’ll see what else you got up your sleeve. Thank you.🙏🏻 🎈
Welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you found me and I look forward to making many great recipes together! 😊 Thanks for watching, your comment, and subscribing!!! I hope you have a blessed evening!
I would have loved to have seen a jar opened after it had completely cooled. It looked watery when you canned it so does it automatically keep thickening after jars are sealed? Thank you for this video🙏🏻🇺🇸✝️
It does thicken some but the overall consistency is more like honey not like a thick jar or preserves. Thus the name Pear Honey. It is delicious on toast, biscuits, ice cream, and over pancakes too. Thanks for watching and your comment. Have a blessed weekend!
Hi Stephanie! Came across your video and made it today. My end product turned red brown in color and not golden at all as in your video. Do you know why this may have happened? Did I cook too long?
I would say it may have cook a little too long. However, I would go by the taste not necessarily the exact color. If it still tastes good and sweet, it’s a winner. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening! 😊
Most jams and jellies do contain lots of sugar. However, you can feel free to adjust the recipe with sugar free or reduced sugar options. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed evening!!!

Looks pretty runny. Does it thickens like jam? Thank you8/14/24
That’s a hell of a lot of sugar🇬🇧
Yes, it is. However, any jam or jelly recipe calls for lots of sugar.
I’d die if I ate that…..wow to much sugar
