Places do weird things like stating no wearing of pyjamas, or no hats, or no tank tops, etc - all just requests, not backed by any law. Private places can do such things, but not public because then they are discriminating. Private places are still discriminating, but their place, their rules.
In 20 years they will be looking back at these videos and saying: "Can't believe in the 2020's they had signs discriminating against Photographers and Videographers. Walking with a camera, no entry."

#Auditing Britain - am I missing something here AB? The (new) sign clearly states "Filming and photography in the *ONE STOP SHOP* is strictly prohibited". It doesn't say anything about not filming in the rest of the building. Now, whether or not it's fair for a private company (i.e. One Stop Shop) to prohibit filming in their area is another matter altogether, but I don't see what it has to do with allowing photography elsewhere?
I have a copy of the councils rules and regulations regarding the public and citizens, which now has an appendix about unreasonably persistent and vexatious customers,. I got this following an FOI request. If you want this let me know.
