  • Meteorologist Chris Brierley on the first measurements of climate, weather forecasts and how can we double check the accuracy of the old climate readings.

'As I said, the world's warmed by about a degree, but, say, today the weather has warmed up by 10 degrees over the course of just that day. So there is an obvious warming of the climate, but it's quite small compared to the noise, and you need to be really careful about how you treat the readings to remove it.'

Recently in Norway high up in the mountains as a glacier retreated a well worn path appeared. Horse manure and personal belongings started appearing. The path is estimated as being in use for a thousand years but when people talk of the climate they ignore this period and what it must have been like during the build up of Ice that eventually covered the track until today.

    Well explained.

Even if as you say, your reverse calculations, based on todays more spohisticated comuter data sets as correct, you can only go back, as you admit, a coulpe of hundred years. From this you estimate a 1 degree change in the temp. However when you look at core samples of formations drilled through by drilling rigs, of core samples in ice formations, the story is completely different, as with Co2 deposits. Whilst what you are doing is very clever, I cannot accept that your conclusion that the world is warming drastically. This sort of Ippc Claim was being framatised by the likes of Al gore some 20 years ago, and the dramtic warming being then predicted was proved to be not just wrong, but revealed a drama that certain sceintists and politicians promoted for nefarious reasons. So, I am extremely wary about your assumptions/ deductions, but do admire the work you are doing, but not the 'scarmongering hint' you give in this presentation.

True, and these alarmists aren't having any luck with their predictions either. For instance, Florida was to be under water by now. (Al Gore, Inconvenient Truth) As well, the oceans haven't risen any real discernable amount elsewhere.

That’s it. I’m convinced. Greta was right. She was right.

It's more like you get well funded if you promote climate alarmism.
