    Magnificent camera footage. Well done. You captured every beautiful angle of the landscape, And with such respect for the wildlife, and the mountain itself. And you kept it so peaceful to watch, without the noise of humans. I know the exact trails you were traveling on, as I hiked them 40 years ago. I am too old now, and can only walk the flat trails with my dog. Thank you for sharing such a peaceful place, and bringing back some cherished memories. You are a nice respectful young man.

      Thank you for such kind and wonderful words. I originally intended to share these videos mainly with my family and friends back in NY since they never get to truly enjoy nature, but I’m glad I made it public. I’m happy that you enjoyed the landscape and the videography and I can’t wait to share more.

    Well done video of the Wonderland Trail. It’s a beautiful location and you captured it so well. Your choice to leave out dialogue was interesting. I enjoyed trail videos with & without dialogue, but having no dialogue, and just the natural sounds, helped bring me into the hike with you. I’m curious, what lens you used? I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

    • @kwanglinpark
      @kwanglinpark  Год назад

      Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. I used a very basic lens for this video. A 16-50mm with 3.5-5.6f. I kept my shots at 3.5f and tried to make it as wide as possible with this lens. Typically prefer this one since it’s nice and compact to bring on a backpacking trip like this one.

    Enjoyed watching this. Nice capture of the trail. It's on my bucket list for my 65th birthday next year. Can't wait to see the guide you put together. What dates did you go this year? Trying to decide if August or September are best for next year.

    • @kwanglinpark
      @kwanglinpark  Год назад +1

      Both months are great! I started the trail on September 7th til the 12th. I personally liked September because it wasn’t too hot. I think August gets really hot for the hike during the middle of the day. Glad you enjoyed the video! The guide will be uploaded very soon. Hope it helps your planning for your 65th!

      @@kwanglinpark I hiked the White Pass to Cascade Locks part of the PCT when I was 46 - 8 years ago. My body has been aching ever since. Only came across 2 people on that hike. Very nicely done, very nice music. It was "only" 25 minutes long, but how do you pack that gorgeous full distance into 25 minutes? I've done 80% of it in day hikes only, and I hope to do the other 3 hard-to-get-to sections with overnighters.

    • @kwanglinpark
      @kwanglinpark  Год назад

      Definitely worth doing the whole thing! There are so many more clips that I didn’t share because I wanted to compact my favorites. 25 minutes definitely does not do this trail its justice. Glad you enjoyed and hope you get to those other sections this year.
