I had pangs of anxiety listening to this podcast. My heart cried for all the parents whose kids became the victim of child trafficking. And I thanked the god for sending people like Mr. S on earth. Your work is unparalleled, sir.
Few days ago I heard of attempted kidnapping of a 3 year old kid, lively bubbly talkative kid. She was saved by her grandpa who is in police. Thanks to his alert mind she is safe. When I heard this, the father was narrating the incident and I was like okay, that’s sad, it’s nice she is safe. I myself have been chased by kidnappers as a child, was saved due to the presence of mind of a friend. She was few years elder to me. I was 7. But still in this hustle bustle phase of life we somehow get insulated to the real suffering. Like it didn’t cross my mind that what would have had happened to that kid the father was talking about. Now I had goosebumps thinking that she would have been thrown away into such inhuman conditions. 😢😢😢 No child deserves this, no child deserves to even feel any danger.

Those who are from SSC will know that we had a chapter about him in our 10th English book named "Let's March". It was a nostalgic moment for me to see him here in this podcast after soo many years of passing 10th (currently in 3rd year engg.) bcuz that particular chapter was the only memory for me of him. And seriously that chapter which was actually his speech at the nobal prize ceremony had a huge impact on me about how children of my age suffer from such horrific scenerios and the most significant thing that I remember and emotionally adore the most is the empty chair that he kept on the stage representing the children, teenagers and also the adults who are currently facing the dark days of human trafficking😢... I really appreciate the State Board of Maharashtra to have included such influential, concerning and awakening topics in our curriculum. I got to know from my friend of that event that on next day he share a incidence I shared in his talk. Met him during Lead prayana Event in Hubli. In 2015.. The way he remembered that I share I was like a child while doing some experiment n forgot I would be judged...this incidence he shared again..
