I really appreciate this message! It takes a lot of work to put these together, but I genuinely wish I had access to this kind of stuff when I first started, really happy to hear you enjoy! Happy welding!
I had never welded before. I bought a flux welder this past week to help extract some bolts on my car. Worked like a charm! I am instantly addicted to wanting to learn. I then starting watching TIG welding videos. Your content is TOP NOTCH. I think I'm gonna buy a tig and get your online course. Thank you for sharing your art and knowledge 🤘
Definitely pull the trigger on one of those machines, even a basic DC machine can help you accomplish a lot of projects with steel and other reactive metals, it's a ton of fun once you open this door for yourself, really excited for you! Be sure to check out the free classes on my website as well as my courses, Really happy to hear your enthusiasm!🙂🔥
Your videos and the way you present your content are awesome. You explain things clearly and easy to understand. Thank you and keep the content coming.
Could you do a video on controlling burn-through/sugaring? There are times when I can't get backing plates on or get shielding gas behind on thin stainless and I get burn through. I did just buy a Everlast 2000w laser welder and it's helping me a ton on parts that I was having issues with. Your videos are awesome. I'm not that far away from you, I'm in North Vancouver, Nova Machine Works.
Hi Dusty. I just joined your channel. I have a Canaweld tig 201 ac/dc pulse D tig welder and would like to learn to tig weld. I'm looking forward to taking lessons from you. I will start with your free lessons you offer. I'm hoping I can take them as I have spare time. Thank you in advance.
Great machine! I have the same one and have been using it for years, really awesome to hear that you are looking to get into it! There are a ton of resources I have posted on my RUclips channel here, as well as the free classes on my website, Feel free to check them out as much as you want! Thanks so much for following along, happy welding🙂🔥
At 12:00 your graphic shows 15-20° travel angle, but I think you mean 15-20° from vertical, not from horizontal as the yellow graphic depicts. Right?? 15° from horizontal would be awfully shallow and would probably prematurely melt your rod.
Does using a bigger cup could fix a issue I have ? Il doing a bunch of stainless tube at work and my weld are rather blue looking than white or golden I have a 12 cup
So I'm trying to just start an arc a few times on mystery metal I has seen elsewhere cfh 2x cup size so went with 12 cfh and a 6 cup. Blue tungsten I triesld electrode neg and pos I'm just getting nothing but a spark from my tungsten to the metal. Would like to know what issue could be maybe low cfh maybe my mystery metal not clean enough I've tried amps from 20-200 I've never seen a video on troubleshooting that showed this issue
I have some experience in mig and flux mig as well as arc and oxy cutting and heating but wanted to try tig with my multiprocess machine since had everything minus argon which I picked up I can do everything I need with arc or mig but want to learn tig and maybe get into an ac machine and get into small boat building with aluminum
My welder doesn not support pedal. When I stop the torch stay on if I am at welding distance. How do I stop it. I usually pull it off upwards direction. Is that a good way?
how hard is to welding with tig but without pedal ? i have tig by "jasic" no pedal , only button on/off what i need to do? click and release every second ? p.s its DC current
I hope you know how much you are appreciated. You've got by far the most informative lessons on here

You're probably already decided but I recommend a primeweld tig 225, mine is great
I Love the logic of your teaching !
Thanks so much! Just putting it out there the way I wish I had learned, I appreciate you checking it out and following along! Happy welding🔥
Awesome video, awaiting delivery of my first DC TIG just after Christmas... I can't wait to try this out.
Merci Dusty pour cette leçon complète

@PacificArcTigWelding Awesome, thanks again. I look forward to your teachings
xcellent video! You made a complex concept so easy to understand with simple, clear examples

Highly interesting, thank you so much!
BTW: "Foot pedal" is a funny term. Have you ever seen a hand pedal?
What kind of helmet was this video filmed through? This is the level of visibility I need!
Thanks to you
Does using a bigger cup could fix a issue I have ? Il doing a bunch of stainless tube at work and my weld are rather blue looking than white or golden I have a 12 cup
is it better to go low and slow and higher amps and fast speed?
