This is an in excellent video! To the point, great examples, great information!! Would you do a video on how an outfielder can shorten his arm action. Would it be essentially the same as the above video?
Great tips. I do feel that many smaller softball players struggle to keep their fingers on top of the ball as they separate to equal and opposites. Just a not to young softball coaches out there. They may have to cup under a few more years.
@@AntonelliBaseball I have a 12 year old son that is on the small side, 5’0 , 97 lbs. 13U baseball this fall. 80’ bases. We’re looking for all the tips that we can get to help him transition to the longer range throw from SS. Working a lot on getting behind ground balls and fielding with momentum going towards first base. North Texas Fall ball starts in September
Love the above water tip. I forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. GREAT teach for 12 under. ⚾️🤜🤛⚾️
Glad it was helpful!
What about for long toss? Should the arm action be longer?
The follow through yes, but the mechanics should change any farther then a 3rd base throw
“I want to be short, quick and repeatable” are the words I’ve been looking for. Nice

Can you do a video talking about Teachermans philosophy?
Matt teaches the same thing, Turning the barrel back, tilting, proper coil

@@user-yj6iq5mi9b. Infielders often catch the ball on the edge of the outfield. Legit question
Sounds like mechanics for a second baseman

“I’ve got a tight V”
Accuracy starts with your feet.
It actually worked i just tried it😂😂
❤
But arnt you supposed to fully extend
What about ur at 3rd
Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless! KP 55 !! Lol jk bro great content
That is considered a short arm don't do it you will be throwing much slower than usual
That’s what I thought. You’d need a cannon to do this and get the ball across the diamond
