I think the anime mask is creepier because the mouth looks more realistic and expressive but it looks creepy in a cool way. Love the mask, I appreciate the hard work you put into both of them!
Two of my favorite things together: Tokyo Ghoul & BTS! Really good tutorial, I am trying to make Kaneki's mask with foam and this is useful. And I enjoy the music while watching it 😊

In the movie, the mask's mouth zipper is meant to come off when he unzips the mouth zipper. If u see the scene when he unzips the mouth zipper he throws the zipper piece behind him.
Its ok not to be happy with your stuff, just take a break and try again if you feel up to it! You know how to make it now, so you'll be able to focus on the details more.❤️

It's the closest thing I had in my closet to the outfit. It's a long sleeve underneath the hoodie; the hoodie/poncho is a maleficent one from hot topic
I'm not sure where else would be a good place to buy this mask. I only have the one I made for myself. I'm not making more right now, but maybe in the future
It wasn't special effects on how they opened the mouth the reason yours didn't is because of the shape of the zipper piece that unzips was too big on yours but theirs was small enough and flat enough plus the shape of the zipper piece was more skinnier than your zipper piece so it moved easier on theirs for that reason
