Ya’ll don’t understand.. this specific performance ? I was there and the chills that took over from beginning to end of that stage had me rethinking my entire life. I screamed my little heart out along with thousands of army’s around me but when Suga came out with the hood over his head and his back towards us, i felt frozen to my core and the intensity of his gaze when he turned and started belting his raps pierced through my heart and soul. I didn’t even realize i was crying until the very last “Never mind” was heard through the room and his eyes, the emotions he held behind those eyes.. god i cry everytime i watch this performance. Jimin had a really bad time with body image issues until he had an eating disorder where he ate rarely until he passes out. He is also very hard on himself about his performance and voice, and he had mentioned that he is a perfectionist, and it is hard for him to relax and he takes everything so seriously (he said that he is learning from Jin to be more present in the future, to find happiness in the day to day and not to take things so seriously). When i saw the nevermind tattoo I was relieved that he got that daily reminder to tune out the negative and instrusive thoughts from within.

This song is so powerful and so underrated. It messes with my mind whenever I see how much hatred there is for BTS in this world and how people constantly try to demean BTS's achievements. These 7 boys have risen to love and have helped their company and the ARMY rise alongside them. They have been through a lot and yet they have diligently fought against all prejudices with nothing but love and hard work. Back in the days when I started my BTS journey (with "Dope" and "Save Me"), I didn't really have a bias. But while listening to their older songs, I was hit by this song, its meaning, the way Suga performed it and how he conveyed these raw emotions. With "Tomorrow" as well, I didn't have any other choice but to admit I became a Yoongi bias! Thanks for the reaction, COME ON!
Re Blaze’s comment about their messages for youth, part of their brilliance is that these truths they speak are actually universal and timeless. As a 41 year old, in my experience people are likely to lose this perspective and become even more afraid of making mistakes as they get older. #EarlyGang Awesome reaction! Nevermind came out in 2015. It's the intro to the HYYH pt2 mini album with Run! The live performance is from the HYYH Prologue concert. Just like the mv starts with "encore" chants, Nevermind was the first performance in the encore. A masterpiece. Suga is my ultimate bias in BTS and the more I have been diving into BTS material over years the more I started to understood why the guy is so dear to me, why he has been calling to me like no other - all songs that I clicked with immediately on a very deep emotional, almost visceral level, without even knowing it first, were either written or produced by him. I was always shocked when I checked production credits of the songs that knocked me off my feet afterwards and realised always found him credited, lol. he wad ALWAYS credited. I love how he uses heavy punchy drums and powerful whiny electric guitars, distorted vocals…. His voice tonality and spilled out emotions he unleashes on us on this track is such a thrilling experience. So raw, so honest, so beautiful, so relatable. Loving him to no end. 💜 (The head movement you mentioned is one of Yoongi’s signature moves. He has been moving his head like this always. Another one is when he closes his eyes, stay still, tip tilt his head backwards and reach with one of his hands up to the skies while rapping his lyrics. I love it, its him, being attuned to and submerged in his music, living it, feeling it, transmuting it. )

Running through my mistakes is something I’ve done ever since this song came out and grew faith in BTS. This was probably in 2015? Next year, I want to get more lyrics of Nevermind tattooed or from moonlight, because in that song he refers to the lyrics in Nevermind. Point is, this song changed me as a human being and was the reason for me to devote myself to these men, cause they were the first to truly help me in this world apart from my mother. Yoongi has my heart.

#EarlyGang Awesome reaction! Nevermind came out in 2015. It's the intro to the HYYH pt2 mini album with Run! The live performance is from the HYYH Prologue concert. Just like the mv starts with "encore" chants, Nevermind was the first performance in the encore. I think up until then all of BTS' intros were animated, and Hoseok's Boy Meets Evil was the first intro filmed in person.

I can feel the emotion he’s trying to convey whenever he’s rapping even if I don’t understand the lyrics. It just goes straight to your heart.

This song and Young Forever are 2 he has tatted because they helped him through tough times. Yoongi was also referring to his struggles with mental illness and the struggles of others. Another way of my man inspiring people with his own experiences and struggles.

Yoongi is an amazing lyricist, he’s the type that keeps it real but adds hope and inspiration. I love each of the rapline’s distinct lyricism and each one has beautiful stories to tell. This one in particular is inspiring to anyone of any age, in a nutshell, keep going and not let the mistakes stop you from living.
Yes, Yoongi always speak his truths and minces no words. Exactly why you feel it, it is always raw. He's the kind of poet who instead of rhyme gives you flows that smacks you up. You cannot not give him your attention. I love Yoongi's writing like I need water.

When you look into “Never mind “ more I think it’s crazy that Jimin got it really engraved into his chest 😮 I always felt that when Jimin is insecure and too hard on himself ( which he is a lot of times) he sticks close to Yoongi. Yoongi is so clear that you just know if he says something he means it. That’s very reassuring. Suga is my ultimate bias in BTS and the more I have been diving into BTS material over years the more I started to understood why the guy is so dear to me, why he has been calling to me like no other - all songs that I clicked with immediately on a very deep emotional, almost visceral level, without even knowing it first, were either written or produced by him. I was always shocked when I checked production credits of the songs that knocked me off my feet afterwards and realised always found him credited, lol.

I love how he uses heavy punchy drums and powerful whiny electric guitars, distorted vocals…. His voice tonality and spilled out emotions he unleashes on us on this track is such a thrilling experience. So raw, so honest, so beautiful, so relatable.

Running through my mistakes is something I’ve done ever since this song came out and grew faith in BTS. This was probably in 2015? Next year, I want to get more lyrics of Nevermind tattooed or from moonlight, because in that song he refers to the lyrics in Nevermind. Point is, this song changed me as a human being and was the reason for me to devote myself to these men, cause they were the first to truly help me in this world apart from my mother. Yoongi has my heart.
