Bruh I really finished trying my best for the past 3 days to imitate it and I just finished a few hours ago. And then you release the video tutorial finally lmao
no lie, i found his showcase video late friday night and did this build yesterday and now i'm finding this video today after i finished it 😂 mine was modified though to have some different elements that i prefered ❤
I just wanted to tell you, this video is something I've come back to dozens of times. I'm in love with your window placemen and lanterns. It's incredibly impactful and beautiful. The entire design has been such an inspiration to me and I wanted to thank you for doing it, and the thoughtful way you presented it the information. Thank you! You have a wonderful manner and your asthetic is beautiful.
I know it's a year old, but I am just scrolling through different videos to try and get an idea of what I want for my own apartment and I just want to say one thing... It is amazing how one can create this illusion of a large space with just furniture. 😍 absolutely amazing!
This was exactly what I was looking for! Felt like I got the hang of the glitches by the end of this, enough at least to have a good idea what the next steps were going to be. You explain very well, easy sub. Looking forward to Pt. 2.
New sub! Finally glad to see people actually showing more details, instead of a camera just zooming across things and we end up missing the details or how they dis something. TY
After grabbing my last item needed from the regular raid, I finally decided to try the _real_ endgame and bought an FC apartment, so this video is exactly what I was looking for! Currently I have a bed, a counter and an indoor BBQ so I have some work to do. ;)
Wow thanks! I really wanted to recreate this changing a bit of things, but I'm absolutely new to housing (I wasn't entirely sold on apartments until I saw yours). Learned glitching along the way. You also explain very well, being completely new to housing I didn't have a lot of trouble recreating things (apart from the huge hit on my wallet). Your design is suuuuper cozy, and makes the apartment look huge which is specially impressive to me. It doesn't feel like a single room. Can't wait for part 2!
I was really trying to gear the content towards people who were just starting out with interiors so I'm happy to hear that it was helpful! The apartments/private chambers are kind of underrated imo, but they're also the easiest to get into outside of trying to buy a house.
I bought an apartment and good thing i find this video, so much detail and steps. Im completely new to housing and i guess it ll be months b4 i can finish mine.
I used this as a template for my own apartment, mainly the windows and the same partitions but everything else is different but it turned out really nice. If anyone would like to see it so they can get a feel for how the windows look in person, its in Cactuar - Mist - Ward 7, then the subdivision apartment building, apartment #32. I really appreciate the video and the inspo it gave me so ty for that
Hi there. Great guide! I am having an issue and was wondering how did you get the loft and stairs to move at the same time with the stage panel (approx 6:12 in the video). For me the loft doesnt attach to the stage panel like the stairs do
The window glitch doesn't seem to work for a Sultana's Breath apartment, at least as far as I can tell. Be wary if you're trying to use this guide in anything but the Topmast, as you may have to do some modifications to the layout to get it to work.
Hi. Very VERY late comment, but I'm in a Lavender Beds apartment and cannot for the life of me get the initial glitch wherein you get the imitation windows to clip into the middle pillar to work... the stage panel consistently turns purple well before I am able to even see the clip. Does this still work, and am I doing something wrong?
Tried to follow this guide but gave up after an hour because placing furniture using a controller on console is a nightmare and made me almost losing my sanity. Now I only have 4 items in my apartment. Summoning bell, aesthetic bell, the hero's journey desk, and orchestrarion, the rest is emptiness.
love the lay out though I am having a hard time doing the window on the pillar as I got it to float but it's not snapping back to the ball when I removed stage. I am using a controller sadly.
first of all really great job, love this vid. i've tryed to place the windows but when i've exit the chamber and went back inside the windows went all shadowy and they bring no light around, any tips on how to fix it? ty
i cannot get the windows to place inside the wall or center them on the pillar... i have tried several different ways and it still will not work. any fixes? this is really annoying
My understanding is that the room location shouldn't affect the ability to float objects but will probably affect their placement on the floor because of the different shaped pillars, in my case whenever I have an item that likes to sink back to the ground it's because of one of two things: 1.) I either forgot to rotate the item after floating it into location before leaving the room, or I ended up canceling the rotation instead of confirming it. 2.) I didn't get the item high enough off the ground to meet it's height requirement, or I happened to miss it's "hitbox" before it met the height requirement and it fell back down when I exit layout mode during my glitching. (this actually happens to me with the bookcase a few times in the video too)
Good video, but if you ever do more in the future, I would highly recommend speaking a little slower. Perhaps that's your normal cadence, or perhaps it was just nerves, but the speed was not particularly conducive to a tutorial video. Certain parts were also just a little too sped up, leading to much rewinding. Otherwise, loved the video, love the setup. Probably gonna keep this one for a while. X)
I have an Au Ra character and any time he sits in the chair in the loft he only takes up the front half of the chair.... does anyone know how to make it so he sits closer back?
Did you solve that the items sink down back on the floor? I have the problem that even i try to lift the furniture as close as i can to the second floor, but after turning around and snitch back the floor, my items still in the air and won't sink down to be in line.
Great Video! I am having a problem with the two inside glade lamps though. I can take them to the same height as the first two but I can't select those 2 lamps to rotate them to make it permanent. I can only rotate them until they get to the bottom of the windows which is where they fall back to when I re-enter the room. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, when I get the lamps to the height I want and it's difficult to select them, I usually try to rotate my camera or walk around to try and view them from different angles until I'm able to highlight them with my mouse. After some brief experimentation, I've found that if you look at them straight on you can only select the windows, but I had an easier time selecting the lamps when viewing them from the side with my camera moved so that it's pushed directly against the wall. This way you're less likely to have the windows getting in the way. If you have a controller you can also do the rotation by selecting it that way, or alternatively trying to use the gamepad keybinds on the keyboard, although I'm unfamiliar with them because I've changed all of the default keybinds. It's a little awkward but I think this is a consequence of trying to put an item where it's not designed to be normally. If you are able to select and rotate them when they're at the desired height and they still fall back down, I would make sure that the rotation is being confirmed instead of canceled, because it's actually really easy to cancel a rotation by clicking in the wrong spot too I've found. I hope this helps!
If it's the windows, all I did was place the windows onto the wall like normal, and then put wall partitions in front of them. After that I exit layout mode, and they move to the front on their own. The placement of the partitions are important because they can't be too far away from the wall, otherwise it won't work. I've found that you can use the snap grid and place them as close to the wall as they can go, and that's still fine, but one step away from the wall from there is too far.
I think at the time my total cost for all of my furniture was something like 1.5 million or so. The most expensive thing was the rug that ended up in the living room which ran me 450k for just the mats alone at the time, so in reality the bulk of my costs without the rug was about 750k-1mil. The windows were averaging 30-40k at the time, which ate up the other half of my expenditures by about 500k or so because I couldn't craft them. I was cutting costs by gathering and crafting what I could myself, and then buying items I couldn't craft while my crafters were at 60 with no master recipes unlocked. Most of the items can be crafted with cheap or low level mats or bought from various vendors for 5k and lower, but if I didn't gather or craft anything my costs would have probably doubled. If I exclude the big expensive things, the bulk of the items fall within the range of about 250-500k gil altogether, including crafting material costs, and a handful of items I wasn't able to make or just too lazy to craft that I had to buy. The price ranges may have changed since this room was first created though, and might vary from world to world depending on the population and competition on the market boards. The more you can craft the lower the total expenses are as well, because mats are almost always cheaper to buy than the item itself.
Im having a hard time trying to lift the Paper Partition >_< Its not working for me LUL PS: Problem solved. Now im waiting for the part 2, I dont think its posted yet? PSS: Id like to thank you for this video. I literally decided to just follow your lead and learned a lot from you. Ive learned some of the tricks on how to place those glade lanterns on top of the tub on other videos, but I still got the inspiration from you. Ive decided to add my own touch and did my own redecoration, but all in all, I thank you for this awesome video! This is my first time glitching stuffs and I love the outcome.
you should have done the glitches steps slower, as a beginner in FF14 and the housing in general i can't follow your steps. in particular those with glitches to finish the 2nd floor . i have to give up now :( *Tip for the new players* ,, understand how the glitches works before you spend your gil on the shopping List.

New sub! Finally glad to see people actually showing more details, instead of a camera just zooming across things and we end up missing the details or how they dis something. TY

thanks for the tips! Used the staircase idea to renovate my layout and it looks amazing, thank you!

Part 2 please!
Great work!!
Love how you just get everything to glitch so easily yet I am placing the loft a thousand different ways onto of this futon and can't get it to lift
Hey! At: 3:23, how do you make the windows pop on the partitions like that? Cuz it doesn't happen in my appartment (Shirogane)
Is the step at 8:05 still possible? The paper partition doesn't budge when I attempt it.
Love this feel like i learned alot for my apartment
This tutorial was crazy good. I love the wall of windows.
The wall for the second floor bed is hard! that is no joke. but thank you so much for the amazing guide, can't wait for part 2!
Not gonna lie, I think that specific wall is my least favorite item to place in this entire room lol
@@NPCHouse That and I also struggled with the shelf above the bed. Do you have an ETA on the next part? Thanks so much for all this
You’ve done a tutorial!!! Looking forward to watching these, and seeing how well I matched up with my design.
Loved this video. really helped me solidify my ideas for my appartment.
Great tutorial! Really helps out as a beginner to all of this.
Thank you for the guide! Finally made the window wall for my apartment!
Been looking forward to this, much appreciated!

This is inspiring!!! Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely amazing guide. However, I can't figure out how you get your partitions flush with the pre-existing pillars at 3:25ish.
same
Are this trick with windows still working? I can't replicate it for some reason
The window glitch doesn't seem to work for a Sultana's Breath apartment, at least as far as I can tell. Be wary if you're trying to use this guide in anything but the Topmast, as you may have to do some modifications to the layout to get it to work.
This is too good.
You need "Burningdownthehouse" plug in to put all that creativity to good use. Seriously.

I'm trying the same thing in my apartment. I can't get this glitch to work.
Great video, I love your ideas
*heavy breathing* part 2?

Now I only have 4 items in my apartment. Summoning bell, aesthetic bell, the hero's journey desk, and orchestrarion, the rest is emptiness.
Awesome Video! Do you think you could make one where you break down how you make the staircase> I can't seem to figure that one out.
love the lay out though I am having a hard time doing the window on the pillar as I got it to float but it's not snapping back to the ball when I removed stage. I am using a controller sadly.
I changed up a few things about it, but if anyone’s in faerie, come to goblet ward 3 plot 2
waiting with bated breath for part 2!
I am unable to place the windows in the pillars, my apartment is on lavender beds though
How do you rise the floor lamps up I still don't get that part man. Beautiful apartment though
first of all really great job, love this vid.

I can't lift the bed. 😑☹
How do you cut the partition in half like I'm trying everything it doesn't work
Video is great and i can follow it, but i do not know which item you used to level up the bed, ill have to leave it as is and scratch the project.
I'm thinking my apartment maybe unglitchable except the for the counter switch
Love the video, but I'm in lavender inn and that floating lamp does not work at all it just sinks down when I do it.

most important rule having your own house in the first place
I still don't understand how can you teleport the futon upper and upper
I have an Au Ra character and any time he sits in the chair in the loft he only takes up the front half of the chair.... does anyone know how to make it so he sits closer back?
No matter what I do, I can't get anything to float up. I'm pretty much screwed to have a second floor. Idk what i'm doing wrong.
any help with doing the window and stage glitch? been having trouble with it for the longest time lol
Lovely guide! Also I've been wondering what that headpiece/hair is on your character.
Thank you! The headpiece is called the Ravel Keeper's Headband of Aiming/Fending
Can u buy rivera wall paper for other areas
So you have items list ??? Of what to buy
YEAAAAAAH BABYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how do you sink items in to the floor floor not the fake floor? with out them popping back up ?

@@apedemakslayer2915 No sadly.. :( so i gave in with the decorating side of this game..
this is awesome
