This mix has quickly become one of my favourite slices of Destiny music. Lightfall might have been a flop for some of the community, but the soundtrack is some of the best from the series. You captured it well here!

@@vixie940 Skye Lewin actually based the Tension track off of that small snippet at the end of Discipline. It's technically not part of the Tension track, but it fits perfectly after it.
All they had to do to make Lightfall good was make Nimbus be the one who sacrifices themselves at the Radial Mast. That Lowkey would've hit hard that the last Cloudstrider was almost at the end of his tenure, and the newest was defeated, and the future of Neomuna uncertain. All before The Final Shape. Wouldn't fix some of the cringe dialogue but it sure would fix the tonal issue.
Tbh it was pretty bad but they put the nail in coffin giving calus such an anti climatic death. We have known about this guy for so long now and we finally get to actually see him and fight him and he dies in a fairly easy final campaign mission. Atleast for savathûn she was originally fairly hard had multiple phases till you actually got to take her down and even after all that shes still not truly dead. For calus we kill him once and it’s fairly easy. Phase 2 is just a very weak aggressive version with swords that on day 1 a friend practically one shot him with the hunter strand super. I was busy with the tormentor and he just goes he’s dead and this was on legend
Unpopular opinion. Lightfall was the shit, armour and weapons were cool, exotics awesome, campaign fun, and strand is objectively super fucking cool, the lore is ass though

Maybe this kinda music just isn’t my style, but the only songs I have saved from Lightfall are the RoN songs.
I can't put into words but each expansion has its own definitive theme. Like any track you play I can pinpoint what expansion it was from

I actually think Nimbus is one of the best characters added to Destiny 2! His arc in Lightfall and the Lightfall seasons was really interesting
