Ordered from Hell's Headbangers. Took just a few days to get my order. Great service.
Your videos are a daily staple for me, I love them. You’re really creating something here.
high energy, charisma and huge dose of unintentional gatekeeping rants.
The funniest thing is that a gatekeeper is the ultimate poser 👍🏻
To be fair, I’m the ultimate poser.
Jack Barton was the main dude Kurt Russell played in Big Trouble in little China. Fucking classic film. You might like it Dawg.

I saw Jimmy On The Block did a response video about the Dawg. I gotta say that Jimmy's record collection is looking pretty solid. Even has 7" demos. Saw plenty of great classics, including a early Exhumed, some Tish, Incantation among others. Dude does listen to real METAL. Gotta give Jimmy props here.
Goddamn.. bodied and stretchered!! 😲
That was some funny sh*t! 😹
The Dawg is going to have to respond asap!

J-Dawg I was at that Bephegor tour with Incantation and Dark funeral. Saw it in Oakland at the 2nd st Oakland metro (now closed they do outdoor matinee shows now)
I remember some wigger dude with a golden state warriors jersey kept stagediving and knocking over shit. The security dragged him out it was HILARIOUS!!!
The Dawg goes homeboy on these so called metal "authorities" and rightfully so.
Wish I knew who the Cleveland dude is I can't think of anyone in Cleveland except thralls but they aren't from Cleveland they are in toledo I think and plus there is more than 1 guy on thralls but I'd like to find out who it is

Your pretty accurate about the Australian scene. Underground gigs are pretty much attended by people who relate to that music.
Jack Burton is Kurt Russell's character in BIG Trouble In Little China.
Hey Sweden! No mack, they are Norwegian
haha what did you think of that garbage sequel they made to The Thing? @@humanbrisket7718
Dawg! Don't disrespect Big Trouble in Little China like that! All hail Jack Burton!
So that's where that name comes from, yeah that's an 80's classic for sure, but I was always more of a Adventures of Remo Williams fanboy.
"You move like a pregnant yak" - _Chiun_
He was reacting to my comment, J-Dawg didn't even get the joke, and he makes fun of me that I don't know good movies, and yet he doesn't even know that Jack Burton is another iconic character from Kurt Russell, just like Snake Plissken? Seems to me like he doesn't know all the good movies.
You paid your dues? Hell yeah I paid my dues, checks in the mail.

That Iamkaiya is definitely honest about her metal journey with explaining she's new so that's definitely a pass.
There's no journey. Everything on social media is about standing out. A pretty chick has way too much competition elsewhere but among a metal crowd she has more chance of standing out and getting subs.
@@jefflawson3574if she was in it purely for the subs, she’d have to be doing a whole lot more mainstream twinkcore and alt rock bs like every other reaction channel.
Underground shit doesn’t get nearly as many views because normies aren’t searching for it like the are gay ass motion in white or disturbed or something
Why would anyone watch that though ? The only reason I can think is if you were a lonely dude, lifelong virgin with no girlfriend and too much time for your right hand.
yup. and there are manysimps in metal. just look at the attention people gave to arch enemy as soon as angela joined. @@crushingalldeceivers
@crushing bud you just answered your own question
It's funny how people think they know everything about metal, yet when you question them, they don't know some shit like Overkill, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse (yes I've came across 1 person), Carcass, etc.
Sure I know what I know, but I find bands I never heard of at least once a week.
Speaking of Nunslaughter. I told one of my co-workers to put on the song "Satanic Slut" and this guy is someone that only listens to mostly mainstream rock/metal and he listens to other garbage. Surprisingly after the song was over, he said "Wow that is pretty badass." But I doubt he will ever buy a Nunslaughter album. I do agree, they are easy to get into. When I first heard them, I said to a friend of mine "Holy shit this is awesome." Then over time coming across Deceased, and then seeing King Fowley on your channel, I don't know how people can't get into these bands, it's just ridiculous. Same thing with finding metal bands over all genres, the internet is out there, there is ways to listen on RUclips, there is ways to buy, there is ways to do research. Hell I've found bands because of you mentioning them. As for Gatekeeping? I think it's a great thing, most of these clowns that are younger metal heads get upset by Gatekeepers, keeps the posers out.
I mean I don't know shit but I know what I like and that's about it.
@@mikeauxbig Hell yeah, Ghost is real metal!
posers wanna clown on gatekeeping when in reality thats how you get into the real shit hearing what gatekeepers talk about and listening to it. The real shit
Well JJ MacDawgalds as a young buck I can only speak for the modern scene in Aus but unfortunately its pretty damn canoe. Even smaller bands get mixed in a lot with Metalcore/Deathcore acts during shows, that stuff in general is quite popular here.
grass is greener bro
It wasn't in the late 80s early nineties. Crossover shows only really happened if the bands let it back then or if the promoter was a wanker. Problem is now a lot of the younger bands suck up to bands in slightly different scenes it ends up a big circle jerk with dumb "festivals" with all different styles. Evil invaders and black conjuration were the last of the good Aussie fests. As for the older bands no way would hardly any of em agree to playing with outsider bands.
Animosity is good "deathcore" from the year 2000. I swear, dying fetus bit some style from them.
Man I haven't thought about that band name in a long time. Those early Tribunal bands had some good albums. I was already a big dm and grindcore fan but early 02 I got into metalcore and what I considered 'deathcore' at the time. Before the MySpace bands got popular like job for a cowboy, I used to considered that genre deathcore (death metal with groove and breakdowns) hell I even thought that dying fetus and skinless was more of a deathcore band bc it had that crunch to it. Obviously a few years later that term meant a totally different thing lol. Another good Tribunal band was End of All and I liked Prayer for Cleansing (which most of the guys went and started Between the Buried and Me) but yeah that late 90s and early 2000s had some bangers. Most of the bands last 5-10 years been ripping off that genre bad especially the Disembodied type bands
This is the most backward comment I’ve ever read.
Despised Icon, and The Red Chord were around during Animosity's run. Of course, they (Animosity) got a lot of slack for their appearance. But those slams and pinches were pants sagging, flat-brim bobbing and canoe-paddling good, brotown! No, but at least Despised Icon is still going. And what about Beneath The Massacre?
@@icankillbugs Man.. I thought I was posting on Metal Trenches' video. Damn 😔

Can we talk about why ticket prices are so fuggin expensive? A club show is 100 bucks now to see suffocation/incantation. Shits getting out of hand.
In my city its 30-40 bucks
@goateyes76 man I wish it was that cheap. $92 for general admission at Mt local spot. That doesn't include probably 10-15 buck beers. Be cool if you could get a couple brews and a shirt for under 120 but it ain't happening in my area.
"Metal looking Aussie guys" - The J Dawg
It’s so strange. I got into nunslaughter this year and it puzzles me why they aren’t a bigger name band.
I’d also thrown in Slugathor, Crucifier, Imprecation and Infester in the category you throw the bands you mention that “represent underground spirit” despite them being a little harder to get into.
lol no@@Leave_The_Hall_69
"Red is the Color of Ripping Death," comes to my mind every time I see roadkill (the blood splatter). I'm new to Nunslaughter and yes, they were easy to get into and I'll buy albums for regular price also (I bought the 2 on the 10 for 50 deal).
Nice! What else did you get on the 10 for $50?
Deceased, Savage Master, Unlord et more. I've hit up the 10 for 50, 2 times and maybe a couple more times soon. I added a few Midnight from the regular selection as well.@@humanbrisket7718
24:05 I use to be like this, I’ve mellowed out a bit but I’m always annoyed whenever someone is like ‘insert influential band/album is trash’ it always seems forced and pretentious
Yeah same.. the older I get the less space I have in my head to get annoyed with stuff. But also I've noticed (just my theory) since the dawn of social media and the modern wave of hipster culture post year 2000..but it's 'cool' to hate stuff. Popular or not and it's infiltrated into the culture in general. Like you said it's that pretentious attitude.

I ran across that young girl Imakaiya or whatever it's spelled and I saw that she was talking about some bands that I like but she seemed like a newbie and more like a pop music person who was talking about just discovering death metal. I'm not going to criticize her for just discovering bands from the 90's because at least she's talking about them and I actually like some of the bands she said that she's getting into. I've actually commented on her videos and I followed her channel just to support someone in the metal scene. I don't just blindly support anyone because they listen to extreme music. I only listen to deathgrind and brutal goregrind, no black metal or symphonic stuff so I go out of my way to support those people who are into the same music that I am interested in

I've amassed roughly 2,000 Death Metal albums in my collection starting with Morbid Angel's Domination nearly 28 years ago and I don't like deicide.

So I’m in my early to mid 20s I’ve pretty much always listened to rock and metal, and I don’t give a fuck about any of this drama and stuff like that, with a few exceptions I don’t believe oh you have to like this band or this band. Though I will say how can you not at least like pantera (well some people are just massive contrarians and they’ll find a way to claim to hate them like “oh they influence a lot of metalcore and nu metal bands pantera sucks!”) if you like metal how can you not like slayer, if you like brutal death metal how can you not like suffocation etc. I’m quite picky with what albums I like, but let’s be real: reek of putrefaction is hard to get into because the production is really bad, same for napalm death scum, the production is bad, the musicianship is sloppy and I personally think the vocals are annoying. Posers are annoying sometimes but most of the time I don’t care, though I will say the one who annoys me the most on RUclips is Become the Knight…*sigh I haven’t seem to many videos of his because why would I want to, but in my opinion the stupidest was his video on the production of Vulgar display of power, and he made his own mix of it and was acting like his was much better, and people in the comments really hit the nail on the head saying congratulations all you did was make it sound like you’re listening to it from behind a wall.
