    crack climbing is much harder than face imo, i can follow up 5.10d cracks barely, yet I can lead 5.12 face climbs. Just such an awkward painful style

      I actually prefer crack climbing to face. It is very painful sometimes, but it's a cool style.

      This isn't how rating works. What percent of your time do you do crimping/openhand/jamming vs. hand jams in your experience as a climber? If you primarily trained crack climbing, or even a decent percentage, the grades would equal out.
