always gotta have that OG CREASE in my 501’s ORIGINAL ey ! 💯💯
Awesome...👍
Pro tip : Spray them down and basically let them soak through with the starch then air dry THEN iron them. 👌🏾
Yep! I usually spray mine a day in advance and let them air dry, and then iron.. I've never ironed them wet..
💯✌🏾
10 pairs = 10 hours... That's the damn truth! XD
Hahahaha.. I am a nanny... That's true.. that's why my madam got mad at me I'm too slowly 😂
Sir, I am glad to see somebody who understands and appreciates the pressed look. We seem to be a dwindling breed. They've gotten too expensive (for me) to send em out and I dont like to wear anything that hasn't been touched by the iron. Very much appreciated. Respect!
You got that right. Even a quick iron without a crease. No way I'm leaving my house with wrinkled jeans. MUCH LOVE
Thank you for putting this video out. This is how i was taught and we use to do it back in the 80s and 90s. back in those days, it was all about who had the best-ironed clothes with the sharpest creases!! Leaving the house without ironed clothes was a NO NO! I Still use this method because i have yet to find a pair of pants or shirt that they claim to be "no iron" or "wrinkle free" to satisfy me.
Those days were so awesome; I miss they
iron damp so legs stick together
I almost passed out when he said one pair takes about one hour 😱
yeah it’s a lot of ironing lol
Thank you soooo much, sir. Now I can iron my husband's jeans the RIGHT way
You could put a thin towel on top of your Jean iron on top of towel, then you will not get the flakes.
Great job
Back in the early 2000 living in the hood instead in Alabama instead of selling drugs. I would sell my services starching dboys pants and, shirts. Made a decent amount monthly to help mama pay the light bill.
Thas Dope I thought this Was a Cali thing. Og Crips N Cholos did this thang
He cooking bacon and vacuuming in the background
Im ole, my legs are getting wobbly, that much starch would probably help me walk....LOL
Don't say mean things about yourself pal!
Damn .....remember running my moms light bill starching them jeans for school back in the days.
Are you can spray the shit out of them, hang them dry, then iron won't take no more the 10min.
My dad does his every Sunday he dries his pants with pant stretchers/straightners and then goes through the starching process. Nice job and great video!!
Good job! And you're absolutely right about a press, makes a world of difference! Also, using a 1/2 gallon pump sprayer makes it easier.
Actually the better way is to fold your pants inside out and then spray them down with the sta flo mixture and let them thoroughly dry for 1-2 days, then fold them back in and iron your jeans with creases. When you do it this way you wont get any residue from the starch and your crease will be super sharp
I will try this. Thanks
@@weldingandstuff the longest part is wating for the pants to dry but once you do this, you can iron them at any times for the desire you want, and plus it significantly saves times when you are ready to iron
Great video, man! I’m not one who likes a crease in my jeans but it does look nice and I know plenty of guys do like ‘em thataway. I’m sure I can use your same methods on my Dockers, which is what I’m looking to do. Already bought that same starch so now I know I’m on the right track!
That back pocket tip is what I needed to see. Thanks for the help
nice but 4 hours try 12 back in the days for maintenance 30 year vet a true starch head i can do 2 half pants in 1 hour nice video
Thank you sir, for the video. Im just learning to iron and this was a fantastic video.
Thank you this video helped me out a lot
Very helpful. Post divorce, it's alarming how little i know about stuff you'd think would be common knowledge. I appreciate you! 👌
Very helpful brother. Thank you.
Earlie rise cadence...gotta tumble before you learn too rumble.
Damn, looks really good man
Thanks; the COVID-19 lock down is bringing out hidden talents lol!!!
Man in middle school crease downed pants and shorts we didn't even need belts lol
I quite like the idea of doing this on my 501 and Wranglers , never done it before to jeans ….wearing a sharp crease in jeans is quite appealing
So hot
That was great, thank you
Awesome thank you!
Love the way u teach, thank u
👍🏽
Sta-flo in Mexico is 1800 pesos only available thru Amazon or Mercado libre
Thank you!
I throw my husbands jeans in the dryer, and then the basket, and then he wears them. Never in my life would it have occured to me to iron, let alone starch a pair of jeans 🤷♀️ but, good info!
Are y'all from Houston because that sta-flo was a staple down here i remember in 96 6th grade spending 6 hours a pair they definitely stood up by themselves but i would put wax paper over the top after i sprayed it down heavy iron on top of that wax paper for a little pulling up on it every once in a while and you dont got to wait or get them flakes but thats what's up got let thus newer soft generation know the struggle and the real #tinmanwith creases
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing , just what I need to know . I’m going to quit going to the cleaners and throwing away money.
Bud your instructions were on point.. 😎👍👖
1 hour to iron a pair of jeans? Bless you. Guess that's why I'm more a wrinkle release spray and shake 😂😂 Interesting video though.
Gonna start doing this put a nice crease in my 501 and my Wranglers
Boss,, she say do them inside out. Hows my garrison..LB sidewayz
With that much starch you should be able to just stand them up against the wall....LOL
spray the starch above the bathtub unless you want to turn your floor into dust collection point
Great video. What is the name of the shirt you are wearing at the end?
Thank you very much , you really helped me ! God bless you
I use a bandanna so my pants don't look shiny
Best method is letting them wet overnight .
Do it leave marks on black clothes?
Thanks for the seams line up hint!
For the best cress spray the inside the iron
Wonder if this works for linen pants
Thanks for the great tips!
Great tip on how to line the jeans up
Spray the inside.
Well done video. Very useful info. Thanks for posting.
Best video I’ve seen yet, most people use to much starch for my taste but yours look just right
Great video & commitment! Reminds me of “breaking starch” in the Army.
starched down!!!!
Sure if you're 65 years old..
Great job
Thanks
This was very helpful
Good job, simple but too the point
Thank you for the video!! Very helpful, I have never startched jeans before
I do mines exactly this way but how to I get the white look off of my clothes though? I can’t stand that whitish finish
Spray the inside and/or let them dry
Thank you!
CLEAN!!!!! 👖
Starch boyzz👍
Hi
Does any starch spray work or is it specifically sta flo?
Sta flo specifically
Great job man love it
Great job. I’ll bring mine by
Lol
Nice!
Good video
I don't crease my denim, I like them to look like I just bought them, but I think i'll use the starch ur using throw out that can stuff.
I don't crease mine either I just like em wrinkle free
Man it doesn’t take that long to iron them
Do you really have to iron them to try and get all the starch out? Could you try and save time and just iron them until the wrinkles are out even if they’re still damp with starch in them
