@@uf1978 Not happy anymore. Cannot use dash cam anymore because AA has its own wi if and it disables dash cam. My AA is now in my console, not being used. If you have a dash cam your out of luck.
Im dying to have one and stop habing to wire conect my phone, but I dont know if it will work in a 2017 camaro, the Android auto its like an app on the standar menú, and I dont want to waste the money
@@roflcopterninjaz I think there's a way of connecting to another devices wifi for both the dongle and the phone so that you can use the other devices connectivity but I have no exp with it.
Honestly it feels the same. I don't notice any latency between the two different options. I'm sure there is additional latency via Wireless vs cable, but it's not noticeable to me.
Just got mine today, 2021 Chevy Colorado Works like a champ. Took about 5 minutes to set it up.

Do you need to have WiFi turned on, on your phone in order for this to work?
From my understanding: Yes, the real data is sent via wifi. The Bluetooth only transmits setup info.

8 or 9 months I think, but I know now its shorter. It should be available in general once they finish all the pre-orders.

Yes, steering wheel controls still work just fine and normal.
