    I have a 2023 crosstrek and want to replace the stock wheels. I am looking to but this tpms 5:47 reader also. What sensors will this work with? Will it work on the oem sensors? Also what after market ones will it program? Just the autel one?

    • @CecilCBailey
      @CecilCBailey  Год назад

      You can use OEM sensors or aftermarket with 433Mhz frequency. Most tire shops will do for free but if you want your own tool it is Autel TS508. Any brand sensors work as long as correct frequency

    • @CecilCBailey
      @CecilCBailey  Год назад

      Actually I should say any sensors work with this tool, the frequency I gave you was for newer Subarus but you can select any ones you want. OEM or aftermarket sensors will work

    I recently got a 2024 crosstrek premium, getting new tires and wheels from tirerack soon, do you know if this method will work on the 2024?

    • @CecilCBailey
      @CecilCBailey  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, same process. It will work for 2024 models

      @@CecilCBaileyI appreciate the feedback, really good tutorial, I look forward to following it when my wheels and tires come in! Seems very handy if your constantly swapping out wheels yourself on a newer car.

      This could help solve the issue of the tire light being on

      How do program a spare with an actual Autel sensor? Is there a 5th spot to add to ecm? I put winter rims on and full spare. Thanks

    • @CecilCBailey
      @CecilCBailey  Год назад +1

      @davida871 you cannot on a Subaru, it will only allow 4 at a time. This means every time you rotate 5th wheel in you must do this process over again
