Zed and Peter. Thank you kindly for the first and second in this series of excellent videos. Zed, your videography, as always, is spot on at showing what the viewer needs to see and is in exact sequence with the verbal part of the tutorial by the craftsperson. And Peter, you are delightfully animated and superb in your detailed explanations of each step. I have carved some spoons and bowls, now I think a pole lathe may be in my future as well. Congrats from across the pond. Looking forward to the rest of this entertaining series. Cheers from an appreciative viewer. Michael O. Alabama, USA
Michael I sincerely appreciate your kind words and for watching, Peter is an extremely talented yet humble guy so I was grateful he allowed me to document his teaching in this fashion. Thank you kindly ~Peace~
Im across the pond so no way I will ever get their. That was very interesting and if I ever find the time I would like to build one of those lathes and give it a go plenty of projects one could make with that...
Indeed making your own is a great way to start, there are lots of plans readily available online and you have some great turners where you are too ~Peace~
