The quality of the products by this brand is by far one of the best that i have tried. The foundation is just like rare beauty, it is just so skin-like. The powder is so so smooth and blushes and cream eyeshadows are worth investing in. Quality plays a significant role in the stable sales of the brand. Kay beauty was my first makeup purchase. And now I am addicted to its products.
Hands down one of the best products created by an Indian celebrity, when it was launched I was just obsessed with their lip crayons, but one thing I have to tell is the price point..kay beauty products are not cheap but not high end too.. that was the main thing behind its success..kat knew the price point should not be high end to cater indian middle class people.. honestly if you see mac or other brands they are expensive and that's why the formulation was good but with kay it took a shift because affordable but good make up products are rare in this industry.. she is truly an intelligent woman. P.S. i am seeing many comments here that she may not be good with acting but she is a smart actress, I have a different pov..over the years I have realised that she is not bad at giving expressions without dialogues but when dialogues came in her initial films she was kind of unattached may be it was because of her accent or not knowing the language.( btw I realised this after seeing NEWYORK, in that song MERE SANG)

I think the brand would not have worked if the quality wasn't good. Katrina is a true business lady to focus on quality and not just on her star power to promote the brand. Also, I think there are alot of shades for the foundation, which is actually suitable for Indian skin. This thing is rare in most of the famous cosmetic brands since they mainly focus on white skin tone. Maybelline fit me first did it and they became instantly popular. Katrina was wise to go in that path.
Apart from everything, Kay Beauty is cruelty-free and vegan brand, I know many do not have any idea what is cruelty free make-up brands, but in my opinion those who know, will always prefer brands like Kay Beauty.

I have seen a lot of celebrity owned brands but me being a brown skin girl ,i had faced a lot of difficulty finding the correct shade foundation for my skin.I actually started using Kay beauty products recently and they work amazingly on my skin.Lots of love to this particular brand.Indeed Katrina is called" beauty with brain"!❤️
Katrina hit the nail with K beauty 'cause her brand got introduced at the right time. They have a lot of really nice formulated products that usually have no affordable options present in our country. Sure, mac's cream blush is superior is every way but it's priced 3.5k where as kay beauty's cream blush which is really good, is priced at 700. Same with her eyeshadow sticks.
Kay beauty has no competition in the market 'cause they are selling products that are not readily available in India at an affordable price point. Brands like maybelline don't really launch cult following products in India and sell outdated ones in our country and have gotten away with it but since the rise of social media, people know what's hot and Kay beauty is duping those products and selling it at an affordable price.
They should market it globally now ....then it will become affordable to us ..!!
