I was not joking with them. Boris has ramped up the racism in this country and have spectifically targetted us-as black people. The Law enforcements always tries to harass us-especially them DOTTY women. My cousin has been harassed/ racially abused by a bunch of racists in her neighbourhood by one woman and her family in particular and when she complained to the Police , she was ingored and when she cuss them off, the following morning the Police turned up at her yard in a huge blacked out van, like she was a dealer or something. It seems like you was deliberately targetted because you have just come back from Jamaica. If you were a white people coming back from Maldives, they would not batter an eyelid. Make an official complaint
I was stopped at the airport once, completely forgot we couldn’t bring lotion, shampoo etc in our hand luggage. They confiscated it, my cousin was with me and said “no baby you better dumb the lotion out in the garbage, these ppl will take it home” so any time they wanna confiscate something throw it in the garbage yourself!
I agree if that’s what one prefers cos they do take it. Personally I tell them when my stuff gets confiscated and it’s brand new you better make sure you take it or use it cos this is quality stuff and I would rather it not go to waste ok.

I use to travel to Jamaica with my girlfriend kind of frequently for vacation and we were at O’Hare airport in Chicago and they would pick us out to interrogate whenever we came back and noticed all the white people had no issues apparently this was happening to other women of color in Chicago whenever they came back from an international flight. One woman went to lawyer and started class action suit which I became a part of it was on dateline this was over 10 years ago and we won lawsuit. They were racially profiling women of color. I have a sister with special needs and I took her along with my children to Jamaica and it was worse they even took her against my will and strip searched her for no reason it was humiliating! You should seek an attorney probably more women have had similar experience 🙏

This just reminds me of what I experienced but on a much smaller scale (train station). I hurt my little toe so I was limping and walking extra slow. I don't think I looked suspicious in my head but OBVIOUSLY to a police man I did. I sat down just minding my own business, waiting for my train and a man who looked like he was undercover for something but pretending to be a passenger walked past and made direct (long) eye contact with me (no one else but there were loads of people around). I went Dom Rep two weeks ago and this happened to me and my friend.. us and an asian man were the only ones searched. The men were going through our underwear and everything is was so invasive. The only difference between us and everyone who was allowed to leave freely was the colour of our skin. These airports need to do better.
